My cats love these
I had one metal comb and felt I could use a couple more. My cats absolutely LOVE these. I gave one to my boyfriend for his cat and she is VERY picky about being groomed and she even likes the one I send home for her. I do comb at an angle, not straight up and down and that seems to get more hair. If I put out one of these they all come over for some grooming. And this was a great price for three slightly different ones.

The wooden handles are a nice touch, both visually and ergonomically. The tines (metal?) seem strong, but they don’t receive a lot of stress or resistance during brushing, as my cats’ hair is smooth and short. Until now, their preferred brushing implement has been your typical Ace-style $2 pocket comb for humans, but since my kitties get a LOT of brushing, we end up with multiple combs spread throughout the house. Not especially the design statement I’d like, though. Enter these combs. They are pleasant to handle, easy to clean, and a nice upgrade from our usual all-plastic models. My cats have no complaints, either.
