Good dryer but missing key item
First off – kudos to Amazon for fast delivery on this. Ordered just after midnight, it was at my door by 7am.To give context, I have been using a Babyliss pro (the classic blue one) for years. As of late I have been getting more frizz and it takes longer to dry, so I figured it was time to get something new.Pros:Like the Babyliss when it was newer, the Cosy dried fairly quickly. I have long hair, it didnât dry in 5 minutes, but was dry in less than 10 minutes.I use my dryer to style too, so another pro on this was the magnetic concentrator. It held firm and i loved that it was magnetic.My hair appeared to have fewer flyaways and had a little more shine, like it did when my Babyliss was newer. It wasnât as soft as with my Babyliss, but I may give it another try.It wasnât lighter than the bigger dryers, but was about the same. It felt fine in my hand and I liked that the on/off was a push up and not flip. I didnât hit it accidentally like I do with my other dryers. The temp changes are a quick push button away and I like the way the light changes for them.The cons -First, and this is the one that is why I am most likely sending it back, there is no cool shot. That is a deal breaker for me because, as I noted, I use my dryer to style and that cool shot at the end gives life to the curl at the end and helps hold it. Sure, you can push the button to get to the cool setting but you have to cycle thru the high setting to get back to warm and it is a little annoying and was a pain to keep switching back and forth instead of hitting a quick button.Next, the plus has this huge brick, like you have on laptop plugs, towards the end. Even if I could hang one of those nice hanging things that the dryer rests on, it would not be practical with that block there. Itâs pretty annoying and makes it less than flexible. The cord is ok otherwise. This is another factor that will send it back.Whoever says this is really quiet must be deaf. Although itâs not way louder than my other dryers, it is definitely NOT quiet. Itâs a blow dryer, so not a deal breaker.Overall it is a nice little dryer, but the cool shot and massive cord will probably mean a drive to return this one.

Cord is so annoying
I like how quickly this hair dryer gets things done. It is fairly lightweight and not too loud. The wind speed is pretty decent and powerful. I like the ease with which the diffuser and condenser attach. The major issue for me is the actual cord. There is a rectangular box on the cord. This makes the cord heavy and very difficult to wrap to put away. It also often pulls itself out of the wall due to the heaviness. Itâs a daily struggle for me and itâs sad because I think the drying is nice and produces shiny hair quickly. Iâm looking for the same one but without a thick box on the cord.

I am a person who takes a lot of care of their hair but who lives in an expensive city and can’t afford nice things all too often. I picked this up on sale. It’s sleek and powerful and comes with useful attachments. It’s got 3 heat settings, which cycle on a button rather than having a cool switch. This can be a minor frustration at times, but not really.It’s an obvious imitation product, but it stands up to scrutiny. If I had a million dollars to spend on luxuries I’d probably go the next level up with the fancier name brand and the slightly nicer whatever but this is proving to be a good, solid dryer that has been good to my long, sensitive hair.
