12V auto blanket
It doesn’t get all that warm, it can’t go in the washer, and it doesn’t have an auto off button but I’m still happy I bought it. It’s on my golf cart seat and when it’s cold I just plug it in and get a warm toosh. Works well but is probably not top notch, but it was inexpensive so I think it’s pretty great for what I paid for it. It’s heavy so it stays on the seat.

Fantastic deal on a great blanket
For auto weather emergencies and chilly nights of grid, this is gonna be great! This comes with a zipping plastic bag for storage which is great for storage in the car. I bought this blanket for when Iâm off grid in my travel trailer to use with my 400 W solar generator. The blanket itself is a nice heavy fleece. The coils inside are well protected. Or you could use us as a regular blanket without the electricity and it would still be quite warm, though not full blanket size. Plugged into my solar generator the thing became nice and warm at about 15 minutes. Not hot just pleasantly radiantly warm. It drew just under 50 W and did not draw down my battery at all during that time. It would be ideal for warming up the bed before getting into it or for a little extra warmth in the wee hours of the morning before the sun rises. Because it has automatic shut off itâs not ideal to run through the entirety of the night. The blanket did have an industrial/manufacturing odor to it. I have chemical sensitivity that is pretty intense, so I will have to air it out for a while before I can use it. But It was not so overwhelming that I couldnât test it out first. I expect if I hang it out on the laundry line and let the sun do itâs thing, it will be ready to be rolled back up and stored for use when it is needed.

shut itself off after a few minutes
bought this for the truck and for cold camping nights. first got it and plugged it into a power station and seen that it was drawing wattage and started to get warm. i unplugged it and stored it in the truck for when i needed it. went camping when it was 73 during the day and 41 at night thinking that the heated blanked would keep me warm dispite the low temp at night, boy was i wrong. the wattage draw was consistent for a few minutes and i noticed that it wasnt really getting warm so i checked the power station and the blanket wasnt drawing any current. i unplugged it and plugged it back in and got the same affect. had to get in my truck and turn it on to get warm. tested the blanket in the truck and found that it would start to get warm and then would stop warming after a few minutes… very dissapointed about this buy considering im well outside the return window. make sure you plug this in and test for at least 15 minutes to be sure it works because mine did not.

Don’t waste you money
I’ve used it 2 times and it barely warms of at all. Small. Just paid 30$ for a useless blanket.

Tried with jackery 300
Wow amazing heat for just 40watt pull my jackery 300 almost 7 hours . I slipped it inside my sleeping bad didnât start out as very warm but with a layer on top of it the heat builds up fast. So much I had to take it out of bag after 4 hours. In 30 degree temps it make for a pleasant nights sleep .

For added warmth in winter.

So far this has been exactly as advertised. Heats up quickly and gets nice and warm. Review is just to change as itâs still new, so I canât speak to the durability.
Walt –
Helped keep the cold at bay but be careful when folding as the thin wires can bend and that particular section won’t work again. Warm fleece fabric.

Imperceptible heat generationconsidering it pulls 3 or 4 amps. Left it on the campervan bed for an hour came back and nothing, zero affect. So I decided to lie under the blanket and read a book for half an hour and I think I noticed it was slightly warmer than an normal non electric fleece blanket would have been. But, that may have been wishfull thinking. So, I then decided to lie on top of it (which is unsafe to do) and yes it does generate its own heat. But, it is so minusule you would be better off saving your money or spending it on a good Marino wool blanket. I was hoping it would be as warm as my cheap after market 12 volt car seat covers, but It does not even produce 10% of the heat that they produce. A very disapointing product. Can you give zero stars?
