My dogs love to eat and do it quickly! Lol Not so good for digestion. Purchasing these bowls made a real difference, helping them slow down. I have several bowls with different patterns inside them so switching them up now and then also helps. Love them!

GREAT Bowl, Adds to Eating Time
This bowl is too small for my 6 year old Golden Retriever male. He eats 3/4 cup of dry food mixed with water and cottage cheese per meal. Itâs a pretty tight fit and any more dry food would overflow. The idea of the bowl is phenomenal though and definitely adds to eating time. Before the bowl, eating time was about 1 minute and now itâs closer to 5 minutes.Added bonus: it IS dishwasher safe!

Slows dogs down
I have a male dog who has a ferocious appitite. Overweight. Vey said I need one of these to slow him down. Wow! Makes mealtime a game. He scoots the bowl all over the floor, not heavy enough to keep it in place but at least the kitchen mat nearby and 2 walls keep him in a corner. He eats slower and does not seem to mind the game of mealtime. Key is need to slow him down to eat. So he eats less. And baby carrots replace dog treats.
