Finally some Peace & Quiet
I have 2 long haired Dachshunds. Their names are Doc Holiday & Wyatt Earp. I love them with everything in my heart but I couldnât stand the barking for another minute. Doc has been amazing with his barking and has never been an issue till the last 4 1/2 months. Wyatt has always been a stubborn barker from day 1. We have tried spray collars, over 9 different shock/vibrate collars. We have tried praying, offering our first grandchild to anyone that could help stop Wyatt from barking. He could stand for hours on end and just non stop bark at absolutely NOTHING. His bark is high pitched and just grates on your ever lasting last nerve. We want to be good neighbors and do not want them to have to listen to our dogs bark. Like I said before Doc used to be ok with just a vibrate and that stopped his barr egg king till he noticed squirrels in ou trees in our back yard. They tease him non stop. So he barks every time they move. I saw these collars and was excited to try them. They are a little big for my dogs but they only wear about 3 hours in the day. I love how easy the screen is to read. When the information isnât on the screen there are white lines on the sides of the screen to let you know the collars are on. A cool thing too are the collars are different patterns which is super important because our dogs are twins. Right down to their toenails. So having the different patterns really helps telling them apart. Setting up the collars were very easy to do. The instructions have some really great tips to help get the best performance out of the collars. Docs collar I have set on the level 2 with no shock. The sound and vibrate is ok for him. Wyatt is completely different. I started him on level 2 with just the sound and vibration and then level 3 and then 4 and so on and so on. I went through all the levels till I finally turned on level 2 with sound, vibrate and shock. Doc stopped barking right away. I had to use the longer posts on both their collars because they have longer hair. I am not a huge fan of the little knobs on the end of the rubber posts. I feel that would be just too uncomfortable for them. So I changed the post to the shorter ones. It still works great with the shorter rubber posts. It has cut the barking down by 99%. I want them to warn us if someone is at our gate. The collar does allow a couple barks before it gives a warning. I am ok with that. I am not a big fan of shock collars. I think they need to be used sparingly and I take them off and give the boys chances before I just put the collar on them. Doc has already made it 2 days without barking without the collar on. I just show him the collar when he starts to bark and it stops him. Unfortunately Wyatt starts barking as soon as the collar comes off. All in all these are pretty nice collars for the price. If anything changes I will update my review.

Dangerous product!
If I could give less than one star I would!!!Updated: the seller replaced this product right away- however after fully charging I out one on one of my dogs I received the replacement collars- today someone slammed a door in our home and it began shocking my dog (no warning beep or vibration)-he yelped in pain and it shocked him again this repeated over and over until I could get it off of him. This was set on a sensitivity of 2 (he is a Great Dane) now our entire house smells like burnt hair and he has a burn on his neck. The second collar was on the charger and it began reacting to his noises vibrating and sending shock signals over and over- this product is dangerous. I have requested a refund and want to warn other!We bought two collars (two dogs) one dog barks and the other gets corrected- tonight our dog yawned and the collar corrected him- this is not a safe or consistent product and I canât find anyway to contact the actual seller.** update**Contacted seller they replaced the collars but they still do not work as described one dog barks the other gets corrected- shock setting inconsistent and reactive to yawns other dogs ect DOES NOT WORK

Easy to use lots of settings
I havenât had to use this a lot. My dog used to bark when we left her alone but I got a bark collar a year ago and it only took one time of getting tagged by it and she never barked again. That collar broke though so I bought this one. It works, Iâve tested on myself. Fits wells, stays charged a long time, nice design, and build well.

Very nice for the price
My dog has become extremely vocal as he has aged (maybe some doggy dementia?) and I needed to curb that, as I work a lot from home and can’t have him interrupting. I did have to set the collar on a high setting but am relieved to see that it has reduced his barking by at least 80%, which I think is pretty good, I think. This item does not shock! That’s perfect for me as I didn’t want that for my old boy but thought it important to note on the review for those who are looking for something more aggressive.

This product does have an excellent battery life and it is easy to learn to use with the digital screen, so there is no doubt what mode it is in and what level it is on. However, that is about where it ends.Unfortunately, we did not learn of the performance quality issues until after the 30 day return period. We have 3 dogs, bought 2 sets of 2 collars and the collars seemed to be helpful during the “trial period”. However, not long after that the collars starting having a LOT of false alarms where they were going off when the dog wearing it was not barking! I would have to agree with other reviewers about collars correcting quiet dogs while another is barking or from other loud noises near by. One of the collars actually fell off when they were outside and got eaten by the lawn mower before we could find it! 🙁 In addition to the false triggers, 2 of our dogs are smart enough that they learned the collar and would change their “noise” to just the right level to not trigger the collar response (i.e. not a full bark, but little whines, cries, grumbles that would not trigger the collar for correction; but still annoying). They also seemed to become tone deaf to the tone & vibrate modes used for correction … meaning that after a month or so, when the collar would trigger for correction on a bark, they would continue to bark right through it (as if they had become used to the sound/feel and it no longer affected them).For us, it was an expensive learning experience (waste of money & still have the same issues with barking). We could have invested in a training class instead, and now will. live and learn, and won’t re-purchase. Bottom line — it’s just ok for performance, so keep looking…..
