strong velcro, durable, not for gravel
I bought these because it has the upper strap. One of the problems with the other brands is the upper part of the shoes irritate that 5th paw (de-claw?). That isn’t a problem with these. My pup has different size front paws than back so I bought 2 pairs based on their measuring chart. I suggest buying one set and see how they fit by tring them on both front and back. Then you will know if you need to buy the same size or another. That is the main reason I tried this brand. I like them very much. If I needed them for any other reason that protecting paws for play time, I’d buy another pair. There were a couple times that the shoes slipped and irritated the 5th paw, no fault of the shoe, so I bought some baby socks and put them on so the velcro wouldn’t irritate it.I say not for gravel because we don’t have grass so we play on our long driveway that has tiny gravel. They got tore up pretty quick. But that isn’t fault of the product. It’s made to protect pups paws in probably every other use lol.So, yes, get these. They are a great shoe and i’m sure they would last much much much longer if it’s not used to play on rough surfaces.

They stay on pretty well
These stayed on well. They seem to be comfortable because my dog doesnât try to take them off like some other shoes I have tried. They are also cute.

Good shoes; a bit hard to put them on
This is the first time I’ve tried shoes for our pup. He’s just 7 months old and loves his walks, but the Texas heat can be brutal, especially on concrete sidewalks. I hoped these shoes would help.He has big paws â everyone noticed that even when he was just a few weeks old. I selected size 6 after measuring his paws, as it was the closest fit. They fit alright but still feel a bit tight, especially on his front paws. The shoes look nice, feel durable, and offer good grip. They seem like they would help during his walks, but our pup isn’t used to them yet, so he keeps missing his steps and tumbling over. It’s funny to watch, but I wouldn’t take him outside like that until he gets more practice. The two Velcro straps hold the shoes well, but it’s a bit hard to get them on if your pup doesn’t sit still. The Velcro straps tend to stick to each other, making it tricky to separate them unless they’re on his legs.Overall, these are pretty good shoes/boots that seem durable. I just need to get my pup used to walking in them.

Better than I thought theyâd be
I have a 77 lb American field lab that has hyperkeratosis pretty bad on her back paws. I want to keep ointment on them but I donât want the ointment all over the rugs as sheâs walking around so these seemed like a good idea. I also think these will protect her paws on our evening walks.I ordered a 7 first because most of the reviews donât mention their dogâs weight, so I didnât have too much to go on and thought this would be close. I did measure her foot (trial unto itself because she has sensitive paws) but itâs hard to get a good measurement because she moved around. I thought the fit of the 7 was a bit big so I ordered a 6 to compare. The 6 fit her foot well. We did some practice walking in the house and she seemed to navigate her new clod hoppers well. We did not put them on her front feet. Sheâs an old girl so I didnât want to overburden her navigational skills right out of the gate. They are easy to use and the double Velcro helps keep them secure.I read a review that mentioned the inside of the shoes were scratchy but I did not experience that with the pairs I received. I feel like these are well made, but only time will tell if the quality lasts.

Game changer
My 10 year old Anatolian Shepherd has degenerative myopathy in her back legs. She drags her toes and doesnât feel them except when they are injured. She also has poor muscle strength and control. On Slippery hard surfaces like our wood floors, she would do the splits; it broke my heart, These shoes have allowed her control so she can stand up and walk on any surface and go downstairs without losing control of her legs and falling. She still drags her toes a little. While walking, the flat rubbery bottoms give her stability so she can pick up opposite foot more. Her stance is wider and her back end sways much less. They arenât water proof which is great! They have sturdy porous material which allows my dogs feet to have air circulation. No stinky feet. Allows her to stay cooler since there is a process with dogsâ feet are one of 2 mechanisms to cool dogs. The other being panting.Lastly, they are super cute- reminds me of mary Janeâs. Reflective details keep my dog visible at night! :-)Thank you folks for awesome doggy shoes!5+++++++ stars.

Not at stated
It seems the shoes on the back paws fits good but on the front paws, the shoes are loose which there is a lot of space in the front so it causes the shoes keep slipping off.Not a right fit in the front. I think, the shoes are not designed correctly to fit all the feet. the shoes meep twisting or coming off. Per instruction, I measured my dog’s feet before ordering them.

If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would.
These are obviously used. There is significant wear and tear, scuff marks, and rips on two of them. It is absolutely ludicrous that these came today in such a condition. I will be getting a refund.

If your dog has a long foot buy next size up.
Based on the sizing I ordered size 4 for my greyhound, but it was too short up in the leg to be able to secure Velcro band. Ended up buying size 6 and itâs better and usable. But these boots are made for more of a compact paw rather then a long slender . One of the best boots I have found. Wish it was longer
