Easy to use; long battery life
I recently adopted a rescued dog from our city pound. This guy was wonderful except for the fact that he heard – and barked at – anything that moves, indoors or out. This was a huge problem since I live on a busy street with many large, loud vehicles and passersby.I had to get a bark collar to keep both my sanity and my new dog. Thank God I bought this one! I started using it without shock, at the lowest sensitivity level. That put a pause on barking for a few days, so I turned on the shock. Several days later I increased the sensitivity by one level, up to two. (This collar offers five levels.) Only once has he caused it to go into “pause” mode by continuously barking.I am extremely pleased with its effectiveness and the ease of use. This collar works great and I highly recommend it!

Enjoying a quiet home!
This collar is very easy to use and surprisingly effective. We have a 13lb pom mix who has an everlasting affection for barking at nearly everything and I was concerned the collars electronic piece would be too big for him but it’s lightweight and fits comfortably. Within minutes of having the collar on he began singing the song of his people over someone walking by the house. The collar beeps first then vibrates and only shocks if the dog continues on if you have the shock feature turned on. After about two barking fits he quickly learned that the beeping was where he should stop the barking (we do have the shock feature on but only on level 2). He was a bit surprised at first upon his first encounter with the shock feature but recovered quickly and went back to playing and romping around the yard and house. We are enjoying a quiet home and our neighbors are enjoying a quiet outdoor environment. Love the collars ability to be charged from a wall outlet instead of having to purchase some weird size impossible to find battery. Also loving the small microphone located on the back of the collar that picks up on the dogs barking but not any other noise surrounding the animal. It makes it so the collar is still effective even if the mechanical piece of the collar is not located directly over the dogs larynx like some other bark control collars require since they have a probe that senses the vibrations and not the noise itself. Highly recommend this collar!

My dog has always been a barking maniac. He’s part beagle and pug and I think the beagle part makes him very energetic and a very loud barker. He loves to be outside and we’ve had him for around eight years now. He loves to be outside, but if someone walks by, another dog in the neighborhood barks, and especially if he sees another dog, he goes absolutely berserk. We have had to take him inside many times when the weather was beautiful because of his constant barking. Recently my daughter became an RN and started working night shift and then someone moved into the house behind our back yard where our dog is tied up. They have two dogs and tie them in their back yard too. This absolutely changed everything and triggered my dog’s barking to get even worse. We’ve had to get him a heavy duty collar and a big dog chain because of how many he’s broken due to his behavior. This has stopped him from getting loose at least, but the barking has been nonstop. I’ve tried many types specially collars to make him stop barking and not pull on his chain/leashes when we take him outside and nothing has worked. My family didn’t like the expensive remote control barking collar I tried once which kind of worked, but I had to be outside with him and use it when he barked too much so even that was a failure. I had to try something after our new neighbors moved in and my daughter needed to sleep in the daytime for her work schedule. This collar was my last try or else I was going to have to find my dog a different home. I didn’t want to do that and after looking thoroughly online I found this barking collar and saw that it was recommended highly. The first day I got it I put it on the most sensitive level and it worked almost instantly. My dog was very confused at first, but after awhile he figured out if he didn’t bark, he would be ok. After a few days I lowered the settings on the collar and it continued to work until finally we could put it on either the buzz setting at a very low sensitivity or just put the collar on him totally turn off. After a month my wife has tied him out without the collar and he didn’t bark at all. We do this from time to time, but after awhile he figures it out and starts barking, but not nearly as bad as before, and when we put the collar back on he stops instantly. This was a life changing product for my dog, family, and probably the whole neighborhood. Of the hundreds of great products I have bought on Amazon, this made a positive impact in our lives. It’s helped my beloved dog stay in our family and for under a hundred dollars too. The battery lasts for days and days. I’ve only charged it once in the two months or so that we’ve had it and now I don’t even need to charge it because he’s learning not to bark when it’s on, but powered off. For anyone who has a dog that they can’t get to stop barking this is the best thing you could ever buy. I have spent hundreds of dollars and spent so much time trying to remedy this issue. After eight years and almost having to find him a new home because of his barking and it’s negative effects on everyone, I finally found the solution. I’m not a paid to review or anything. I bought this with my own money and didn’t think it would work. It’s absolutely worth the money. I highly recommend this product for whoever has a dog that they love and have any of the same issues with it that I listed. I just can’t say enough about it. Thank you Amazon and the people who make this product. The video (excuse the mess in my and my neighbors yard as it was when they first moved in) is from the first day I bought it. He was going absolutely insane all day because of new neighbor’s dogs being so close. No one has ever had a dog that they tied outside in that house in the over 23 we’ve lived here. To see him just sit there without barking constantly and choking himself trying to get off his chain was absolutely amazing. I almost lost my voice from yelling at him so much earlier in week and this day to be quiet until the collar showed up. I was so happy that I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I was filming him being quiet for the first time since we got him as a puppy. I was utterly amazed!

I used it just in vibrate mode first which was really effective for one of my dogs, but the other needed the shock. Best thing is that it gives a warning vibrate, and the dog has to keep barking for it to shock them. If they stock when they get the vibration it doesn’t follow with the shock. It also beeps so you know it’s working. Works really well.

These are a great price, very durable and has 2 collar options (fabric or rubber/plastic). They have a great battery life of 2-4 days and work really well for our dogs.
