Great product!
Alright folks, just snagged this Lusimpo Pet Camera and honestly? It’s kinda the bee’s knees.Camera quality? On point. Even in my dimly lit apartment, the night vision kicks in and lets me see my pupper clear as day. And there’s this chat feature. Yup, 2-way audio. So sometimes I just holler at my cat (though she mostly gives me that “why are you interrupting my nap?” look).But the real MVP? That treat dispenser. My dog is going nuts over it. I can even set it up to toss treats at specific times. Had a little too much fun and tossed a few too many once. Good times.Oh, and get this – I can let my family connect to it. My sis logged in the other day and started playing with the treat dispenser. No wonder my pets like her better now. ðIf you’re a pet owner, you might wanna jump on this. It’s legit cool. ð

4/5 Stars. The setup was pretty easy although I was confused at first because I didnât know the dispenser could scan the QR Code off of my phone. The vision quality is great. I get instant notifications when it senses movement. It also lists on the app that treat dispense was âsuccessfully dispensedâ anytime you dispense a treat. The app itself is easy and self explanatory to get around, nothing complicated. My dog loves this thing and tries to get the treats out. The only thing my dog doesnât like is how it launches the treats at her lol. Iâll have to strategically reposition the dispenser outside of her crate so itâll still be able to dispense treats in her kennel.

Potential Hazard For Cats.
IMO this product is not suitable for curious cats.The treats are fed by a rotating drum with a cut out cavity in it. When the drum rotates, the cavity collects the treats from above and then dumps them at the dispenser opening when the drum /cavity rotates downward.The problem I anticipated is that the open cavity is low enough in the device that a curious cat could easily insert its paw in search of treats.Should the device be activated while a cat has its paw in the drum the paw could become entrapped, or worse cause serious injury.To validate my concern, I inseted a carrot into the open cavity of the drum and activated the feed dispenser. the drum rotaed and cut off the end of the carrot.No way was I going to leave my curious and always hungry boy alone with this thing.Maybe this would be OK for a dog, but IMO not for cats or other small pets.

Nice product! Camera cap difficult to remove
I had such trouble trying to set this up the first time. I couldnât find a way to remove the camera cap which then made me question if there ever was one- so obviously I wasnât able to get the device connected the first time around without showing it the QR code on my phone screen. I finally found a spot to dig my nails under to turn the cap down and away from the camera, which I have shown in attached video. Trying to turn it from the tab on the camera lense didnât do anything because that part of the cap doesnât move.

Pricing is fair all things considered, but anywhere closer towards the $100 mark would obviously be nice, however, not entirely necessary either given the quality design, build and functionality with this particular unit.Design looks great, super minimal and sleek but heavy laden with convenient and generally easy to use features. Perfectly smart and networked to allow autonomy for the client, meaning you can be away for extended periods and still be able to communicate and ration out pellet snacks to your loved one.Camera comes in HD quality acceptable for use over network, clear and consistent enough but highly dependant on a good connection.With built in motion detection you can easily have this work based on proximity or scheduled to toss snacks out at a convenient time. Also works great with your home assistant if youâre really that lazy.Messages also work fine if you pre-record it allowing for less checkups and helping to ensure your pet hears your voice as it dispense. While not a replacement for real life interaction itâs the next best thing.App works fine and highly intuitive and modernized. An all around well rounded unit that works as intended.
