It is loud! Kinda scared my pup. Which did teach him barking is inappropriate. Works. Although doesnât last long. Does smell sorta like bug spray tiny bit. Still get it anyway

Love this so far!
I loved the idea of this and wanted to put it to the test in my house. I have 2 dogs, and one of them is a natural barker. It has been really annoying listening to him bark at every sound and person he notices around or outside the house. Our newer and younger dog is just learning the ropes but has unfortunately started picking up on the older dog’s barking. I’ve tried barking collars that make a sound or vibrate with moderate success in the one dog. The problem is, you need to put it on them EVERY time they go out, and you need to make sure they are charged. I’m not good with those things! This little spray can has been a real help so far inside and outside for barking. When you push the top, it emits a hissing sound, like compressed air or an air-filled toy when it deflates. This just startles the dogs, effectively gaining their attention, and refocusing it on figuring out what made that sound. Then you can give the behavior correction…for us…”no bark!” We haven’t been using it too long, but I am happy with the results so far. I’m not sure if they will eventually stop barking altogether, but this does what I need it to do while trying to train them out of the barking pattern. So far, so good!

It works, but could use more.
This is one of the smaller sprays I’ve tried. It works well, but 70ml just isn’t enough. I only used it a handful of times and it’s almost gone. I do recommend these sprays, but if you feel like you will need it more than a few times go for a bigger option.

Wow this works!
When I received this product, I did a few test sprays to see what it sounded like and how strong the scent was. It makes a very loud TSSSSSSSSSS sound that is commonly used when scolding an animal. I have to say Iâve only had to use this once so far. When two of our dogs were rough housing and not listening to me, I gave this a try. All I can say is wow! One quick spray in their direction and both were stopped in their tracks. They were left staring at me at attention to which I corrected them and they stopped playing and chilled out. The citronella scent does linger for a little while, which I think is by design to remind the animal of the correction and make a connection between the noise and scent.

I didn’t realize this had citronella in it. It’s not a heavy scent, but dogs can smell scents much better than humans. Dogs supposedly dislike strong citrusy scents. I’m hoping it will deter charging dogs that try to get my dog or me. This might help keep them away from you and your dog. The hissing noise is loud, and it should help keep away most dogs. My dog is conditioned to all kinds of very loud and sudden sounds, so I didn’t have to condition her not to be afraid of this if I had to use it on a dog that runs up to us and tries to hurt us. If you think your dog might be scared by this noise, it might be helpful if you practice the sound a few times from a few feet away to see how they react. They can gradually get used to it.I don’t know if it will be effective, but most dogs are afraid of hissing noises and strong odors. I think it would be effective of most dogs. I got 4 of these cans, and I tested them all. They all worked as they should. It’s very easy to use because you only have to take the cap off and push a button. This was a good value because I got 4, and the citronella scent with the hissing sound should deter most dogs.

Definitely gets their attention
I have a 6yr old husky and just got a 3yr old husky from a shelter. The new dog has no socialization skills at all, so I need to keep a very close eye on him. He paws and nips at me way too hard, and lunges at other dogs without warning. This spray has an immediate effect and gets his attention right away. The scent is mild (for me). I only used it for maybe half a second on the few occasions I’ve used it, but that’s all he needs to stop doing what he’s doing. The first time, it made him sneeze six times in a row. He walked right into it that time. Glad to have it on hand.

Works great for my two German Shepherds
I love my two boys but sometimes they misbehave and need to learn that certain behaviors are unacceptable. I would never use one of those âshockâ collars, and Iâve tried training them with verbal commands, with mixed results. Itâs not them, Iâm probably just not training them as well as I should.I read many reviews on this corrector spray and they sounded pretty promising. So far Iâm really happy with the results. When they start barking like crazy when a package delivery is made at the front door, one little spray with its hissing sound stops them in their tracks. When they bark when I get a phone call and start talking, again a quick spray stops them immediately. When they start chewing the sofa cushions or playing too aggressively, ditto. At this point, just picking up the can makes them stop whatever naughtiness theyâre thinking of.Highly recommend this spray, it works great for me.
