Customers say
Customers appreciate the foot protection provided by the paw hoof protector. However, they find it difficult to put on and wear due to its tightness at the top and constricting fit. They also mention issues with circulation and comfort. There are differing opinions regarding size, durability, and functionality.

Buy them
I have been buying these for years. My dog wears them every day because of my muddy clay yard. They work great and he loves that he can still feel the ground with his paws. They even give him extra traction on slippery floors. We use them in the car to protect my leather seats. Even my parents and grandparents can put them on his feet. I can actually get a month of use out of one set. These have been a lifesaver in places where he could get something stuck in his paw. And they keep his feet fairly dry. Definitely better than no booties.

Rips right away
We bought these to help protect our dog’s paws while running around on the pool deck. He loves swimming and alternates between swimming and running around the pool. He loves it so much, he does not know when to stop! As a result, he will rip his pads. These booties go on fairly easy, but they are very tight at the top to where I’m afraid to leave them on him for too long because they will cut off his circulation. As soon as my dog trotted out to the pool, his short nails had pierced through all four boots. The boots quickly ripped and became pricey pieces of trash.

We love Pawz
We have been using these rubber booties for nearly 11yrs. Our Havanese hate the snow but won’t wear any other boots. These allow them to feel the ground underneath them while still protecting their pads from getting snow in-between them. They perfectly mold to your pets paw. 1 pair can last several seasons. Our pks came 4pair to a package. Larger dogs may be more rough on them but my smal dog they are perfect. Highly recommend.

Latex foot slippers that are comfortable for a short amount of time.
These booties are water resistant and provide generally good protection for most sharp objects (pebbles, larger pieces of glass, and other debris) that you may find walking your dog in the city or in a wooded area. They are made of the same exact material as balloons. They are constricting. These dog boots/slips should not be on dogs’ feet for an extended period of time.My dog can tolerate them for no more than 5 hours if she is actively walking and moving in those 5 hours. At more than 5 active hours, her feet will start to swell due to the contriction.Similarly, the amount of time my dog can tolerate them when not actively walking or moving is significantly less. I noticed that when I put them on her but the plans changed and she was not actively walking or moving, her feet began to swell at 2 hours in the PAWZ.My dog will tolerate them, because I socialized her to tolerate them. When I put them on her, she knows that we are going for a longer walk or hike. She still doesn’t like them. When we are not walking, every now and then she returns to her original reaction, which is to try to shake or pry them off of her pawz.Pawz work somewhat well, but they are not comfortable. Be aware of how long you keep your dogs in this product to minimize discomfort and injury.

Seems like a good product, but sizing is inaccurate
I first purchased from a pet store, a size “Tiny”, because I have an 11 week old tiny Maltese puppy. These were too small. So I ordered these larger ones from Amazon in size XX Small. Still way too small to fit over his paws. They will probably be okay for a Chihuahua,

Fits perfect make sure you buy paws jawz
So these gloves fit her perfect without the paws JAWZ it would be impossible to put these on her so if you donât buy one, I donât recommend buying the other but other than that absolutely perfect. Mika is almost 4 pounds. And I got her the size tiny
Amazon Customer –
the opening is tiny, took 2 people to put one on
if i can’t put it on my dog myself, it’s useless. we got the medium for a 40 lb mix breed dog. the opening was SO tiny, that it took 3 hands to put it on. there was way too much room in the paw area, but the opening was so tight against his leg that it made me nervous about circulation. it also made it incredibly difficult to take it off.
