Perfect for my littles
These ropes are the perfect size for my mini dachshund. The knots on the end are small enough to get in their mouths. The ropes is also lighter weight making it easier for them to play with. I loved the bright colors and so far they are holding up to play time.

The rope itself is fine. My small puppy likes it. Sheâs been playing with it for over a week and itâs showing no real wear, so Iâm happy with the quality. However, of the pack of 4 that I purchased, I only received 1 rope. Iâm really disappointed because, while the price was decedent for a 4 pk, itâs expensive for a single tiny rope. There should be better management of shipping.

Great (if small) ropes
Hi Amazon, to be up-front here I got these for prairie dogs, not real dogs. I’ve read in several places that they like these rope and generally can’t hurt themselves on them. And I must say my prairie dogs do indeed like them; showed interest/nibbled on them every day so far (today is day three). So they win in that regard. As prairie Dog toys, I’d give them 5 stars. For real dogs, maybe not quite so high. To be up-front again, I have no real dogs now and have not tested these on real dogs. In fact I’ve never had (nor want) dogs that are small enough to make use of these. I’ve usually had mutts (shepherd mixes and chow mixes). They might play with these a bit as very young (small) puppies but I’d be a little concerned about them choking. I don’t believe they’d hold up well to vigorous chewing; they at least get the knots untied and probably unravel the whole thing. A large pup, like a st. bernard, may try to swallow the whole thing. I believe this it true for all medium/large dogs, even if pups. Small dogs, like chihuahuas or something, might get more out of them. I really don’t know how they’d do, so not down-ranking them over my imagination. To summarize: Great, 5-star product for prairie dogs. For medium/big dogs, perhaps a bit small even for pups. Use caution or get something bigger. For small dogs, I have no idea. Volume/price is great. They’re simply designed but pretty.

Very small My dog likes to throw toys up into the air and I was hoping that these would be small enough for her to do that which she actually doesnât very often. They are too small to play tug-of-war Wes so she is about a 20 pound dog and this ended up being too small.
