The BEST shoes! Do not come off!!! Worth the $
My puggle has had hers for 11 years and so we got our rescue Chorky a pair. More expensive than others but worth the investment. One pair lasts your pet a lifetime! They need to be “Broke in” as you can see by the picture with our little one but one you machine wash and “bend and shape” they work great! Do not hesitate

    Super nice shoes!
I so much wanted them to fit. Made so nice and sturdy. I had called the Muttluks co in Canada as they were too wide. According to the site, I measured the length of my dogs foot. The length was perfect, but unfortunately way too wide. My pup has a tiny long foot. I don’t find the company at fault for my mini aussiedoodles shaped foot. I do have to return them.

    Fur-baby shoes
Muttluks are wonderful! They protect paws from thorns, grass seeds and hot pavement. Additionally, they protect and keep paws dry when walking in snow and ice.We started using fleece-lined Muttluks some years back to protect our dog’s paws from sharp ice and salted snow. The boots performed beautifully. Dog’s paws were warm and dry at the end of our walks. We purchased our second pair of fleece-lined Muttluks when we moved to south Texas where there are all manner of prickly seeds and thorns to get wedged in a dog’s paws. The boots have kept our dog’s paws safe and thorn free.In south Texas, the temperatures and pavement really get hot. Before the boots, my dog chewed and licked at his paws which seemed constantly irritated. Since wearing the boots, he no longer obsessively chews or licks his paws. Although my dog is wearing fleece-lined boots, his paws are not overheated after walking. The measuring guide is easy to follow and accurate. To put the boots on, I have my dog lay down on his side. It is then easy to slide the boots on. I’ve had no problem with the boots falling off.LOVE these boots and HIGHLY recommend.

    100% Worth it.
100% Worth the investment. Very impressed. Don’t bother with cheaper boots that don’t fit right. If boots are too floppy your dog could trip and injure itself. These boots were easy to put on, fit great and stayed on the whole time during a 2 hour hike. (Check every once in a while to make sure your dog’s paw hasn’t scooted back, then readjust the tightness of the strap if you have to. The velcro holds great, but if it isn’t pulled tight enough at the start then your dogs feet will move around.) The boots were durable and allowed my dog to run around and play without slipping on ice. The fabric goes high enough on a little dog to provide some extra warmth and keep snow coming over the top. It took a few tries to get him used to wearing boots but with some practice he stopped noticing he was wearing them at all. They’re comfortable enough that he didn’t hate them and he didn’t chew to try to take them off, which was a nice surprise. The boots are water resistant and kept his feet warm and dry. He didn’t walk through puddles so I can’t speak to how they’d hold up if fully drenched, but they were great in snow. After I took the boots off his feet showed no sign of redness from cold and no scratches or cuts from the ice. Fit true to size. XXS was good for my 10lb maltipoo, but definitely measure before you buy.

Could be great, if they’d stay on …
I did a great deal of research before buying these boots. I needed some kind of protective footwear for my dog, Tater, because we walk five times per day, and I wanted her to have the best boots out there. Even when the weather is disagreeable, she still needs to do her business! I wanted quality boots that would warm and protect her paws, and I was confident that I bought exactly that when I received these Muttluks boots. I followed the directions on the Muttluks website to measure and determine the size, and I bought the medium (her measurements put her right in the middle of the 3.25″–3.75″ size range for the mediums, so I thought they would be a perfect fit). They appear very well made.Well, it’s been cold here, but recently, that cold got even colder. In fact, I believe a record was broken (or nearly broken) earlier this week. And so we aren’t taking long walks for fun and exercise right now—we’ve been taking very quick, “business only” walks. Tater wore the Muttluks boots around the house for a few hours, and they performed perfectly and didn’t seem to bother her at all, but the very first time she wore them outside, for a very short walk (less than a dozen yards on a cleared sidewalk), two of the boots came right off. I retrieved them, and decided that we must have failed to secure the Velcro tightly enough. So the next morning, in the subzero temps and -25 wind chill, it was once again time for Tater to do her business. I was very careful to put the boots on perfectly. I put them on exactly as the instructions said and ensured that her toes went to the bottom of the inside of the boot. Then I tightened them as snugly as possible with the Velcro strap. I made extra-special sure that the boots were on snugly and that they were not dragging at the toes or sagging anywhere. The boots would not fasten any tighter and seemed to be snug on her feet. And on that morning, when it was so cold and windy that our teeny little walk made tears freeze on both of our faces, the Muttluks boots once again failed us and did not perform as promised or expected, as three of them came right off of her feet. We barely walked any further than we had the night before. No permanent damage was done to Tater’s paws, and we came back inside as fast as possible. But to say that I am disappointed in these boots would be a severe understatement. I’m verging on angry, actually, as they were not cheap (a fact that didn’t bother me even a little when I thought these boots would be awesome). It is not too much to ask that the boots perform as advertised, but they do not. I cannot recommend them.I sent the above content (slightly edited because it was an email asking for help and not a product review) to Muttluks, using the email address on their website. I sent that email on Monday morning and asked for suggestions. I have received nothing in response (so far it has been three business days). So, I’m not impressed with the product OR with the company.

    Stitching let go in seem
They fit our dog great, a 15 lb Yorkie/Cocker mix. Size XXS. The boots stayed on his feet great. Buddy didn’t even have a problem wearing them since he got to go for a walk! Unfortunately the stitching in the seem let loose on one boot and it started a hole, this was after 3 or 4 walks. I’m returning them and ordering the same item in the hope of durability. I really like that the leather bottom is on them. As long as the strap is very snug the boots were on his feet for a mile walk! I feel that the cost of them was a bit high but was willing to do it. They must wear well for long term use. Time will tell what my 2nd attempt brings..

I live in the downtown area which is covered in snow and salt all winter. The boots protect my Morkie’s paws but the salt eats them away. He had a weird size paw which does not help as if you get them too small they won’t fit and too big and they will wear at the toes. I find that these boots are the only ones that work for me and this has resulted in me buying numerous sets over the years. The boots keep his paws dry and warm and they are easy to put on and they stay on. Great product!

There are many cheap dog boots on the market but in my experience they are cheap for a reason – they are just not substantial enough to cope and quickly fall apart. Muttluks are the best available and although they cost a lot more than many other makes, you save in the long run. A friend bought cheap boots for her dog and has already replaced them 3 times. My Muttluks still look like new!
