My kid does competitive swimming and we needed a reliable counter to keep track of the laps. Since it would be close to the water, we didn’t want anything electronic. This simple hand clicker did the trick.It’s easy to operate and can even be reset with one hand! The lanyard is just the right length to have it hanging from your wrist and always available.

Simple design and operation. Can be used for anything you need to count, such as laps, repetitions or items up to 9,999. Turn the knob on the side to re-set to 0. In my case, they are used to count arrows fired during practice sessions. It’s a great way to keep track, without having to worry about writing anything down or entering notes in my phone.Both worked flawlessly out of the box.

I did a test and clicked all the way through all the numbers to end. It worked but it did feel a tad clunky at some points. Not enough to make a real difference it just reminded me that this was an inexpensive product. I think it’s fine for casual use.
