Our 7-year-old is HIGHLY competitive and is one of those kiddos that is just athletically gifted in the three sports he’s zoned into… baseball, football, and golf. While golf doesn’t need any agility training, football and baseball definitely do.Our kiddo requested something like this set from Santa, as he wanted to work on his reaction times and breakaway speed in each of his sports. We simply set this up in the backyard (or even have it set up at the baseball field prior to the start of actual practice), and he and a couple of buddies challenge each other with agility races. While they’re competing for bragging rights (as 7 year old kiddos do), they’re also unaware that they truly ARE improving all of their times and skills.The hurdles are their favorite, and watching their coordination improve has been the most impressive.
