Great interactive toy
I like this toy. It’s durable, easy to charge up. I like that when a kitty walks by the toy, it starts up. My youngest kitty played with it at first..now he just looks at it. I believe kittens would really love this toy. I’ll likely donate to the shelter I volunteer at, after I put the toy away and try again!

Noisy but endless entertainment for your kitty friend
Wonderful little toy that will keep your kitties occupied for long periods of time. My only complaint is that it’s quite noisy and the cats get real rowdy with it (< not a real complaint). They absolutely love it. The second I turn it on they are scrambling to get to the toy. Both my kitten and my ~1 year old cat are obsessed. If you're looking for a toy that your cat can use to entertain themselves this one is great. Well made and nice package of extra feathery pieces and balls. My cats LOVED the little balls too. They went nuts batting them all over the house. The top pops off if your cat is super crazy like mine but it pops back on easily. It has gotten tons of use and hasn't broken yet. Wonderful little toy. Plus it's rechargeable. What more can you ask for?

Great toy with a few caveats
I have an earlier version of this, and hope the issues that concerned me have been resolved. My youngest adult cat loves this. Even my more reserved cat will sneak in to play with it. They have burned through the replacement feathers, and all that’s left is the metal stick. I haven’t let them have it until I figure out how to protect them from the sharp end. It recharges easily, lasts a good while on one charge, and I especially like the automatic turn off. It is light, and even my smallest cat can turn it over during vigorous play. Once upside down, it doesn’t work until you turn it right side up again. A heavier base would be helpful. This version has lasted about 3 years with intermittent play.

My cat comes running when I turn it on
Frequently, I will buy my pets something just to be disappointed when it arrives. They either donât use it or itâs not what I was expecting. We have a relatively young cat that we just rescued so sheâs still a little bit shy. When I first turned this on, she didnât know quite what to make of it. But after watching it carefully, soon came to enjoy chasing after the feathers as they stuck out the various holes. Now, when I turn it on, wherever she is in the house, she will come running because she hears the motor. Score! So far, she hasnât destroyed any of the feathers so weâll have to see how long it lasts. I like that it has a motion sensor that will turn on and off automatically. It does behave a little strangely when you first turn it on. It will start to go and then stop. To actually activate it you have to then wave your hand in front of the motion sensor. Then it will run for five minutes until it sees more motion.

Almost Perfect – Fragile & Too easily flipped over
First like most cat toys I buy I expect them to keep my cat’s interest about a week if I am lucky. I am very please to share after a month my cat is still fascinated and nearly attached at the hip to this thing! Why no 5 stars? My cat is between 1-2 years old. So please take in account her energy levels for that age. Also she is 8lbs so not a big cat but not tiny either.Updated 11/14/22 Durability:After just 1 month 10 days my little destroyer has managed to claw the rubber sleeve that holds the feathers. She has pretty much destroyed the little white rubber sleeve and now after playing with it for just a minute she has pulled the feather completely out. It is a shame this toy did not last longer, it is by far her favorite toy and she has gotten a lot of use out of it in the short time it survived. I am hoping there will be an improved model soon that addresses the flaws with the design because I think they are really on to something special.Previous DurabilityAfter a 30 days of continuous play and I mean continuous as in having to recharge it every day as I work from home she has only destroyed the first feather. So for durability she is currently going through one (1) feather a month. I just installed the new feather this week we’ll see if she has mastered her art of destruction and improves upon her time on the next one.Function:When you first turn it on you have to wait about 3-5 seconds (maybe for it to boot up?) before the sensor will work. I am usually the one that starts it for her and she is immediately engaged. She has also started leading me to it if its not running. It does turn on by itself or she gets it turned on by herself throughout the day but I do tend to be turning it on a lot for her but walking by and sticking my foot or hand in front of the sensor for 1-2 seconds then pulling it away.Problems:My cat can get her paws in the hole, when she does she will toss the toy. About 99% of the time it lands upside down and the feathers spin around but can only come out the side holes and generally are jammed on the top holes. I am flipping this thing back over constantly! Perhaps she has found a way to get more attention from me while I work by flipping it upside down and is now doing it intentionally just another wonderful mystery of the mind of our little companions.Recommendations:I am going to go to a craft store to see about some two-sided tape and perhaps a weighted plate to put on the bottom to reduce the flipping. I would also recommend rubber feet glued on all sides of it if you have hard floors to cut down on the noise when it is flipped over. In addition if the rubber feet are tall then likely the cat will be just as engaged when its upside down where they can peak and paw at it underneath.Ultimately I think this is a great concept and just needs some improvement to handle when it is flipped over, it is on hard surfaces and the way the feathers attach need to be more secure and preferable the holes a little smaller so they can’t put their paws all the way inside and destroyer the sleeve the feathers are attached to.I read some other reviews that their cats got bored quickly so it really is up to the personality of your little friend. I for one have never come across a toy she has liked this much and therefore am motivated to improve it on my own for the shortcomings it has.

must buy!!!
Every one of our 5 cats love this toy. Easy to set up and it engages and entertains them for a long time. Glad it came with replacement feathers. sturdy enough that it hasn’t broken when any of the cats have slapped and tossed it around.

He loves this perk a boo toy.
My little guy Marshmellow lives the peek a boo games so I purchased this e first and then the round one like this one. He loves both of them however the round one he can fit his paws in another easier a d I believe they like that because they feel as though they are actually catching something if they can grab it with their paws / claws. I kept both for different play tine days. Cannot say anything bad about either one. I can say that the rounded one is better for his paws and all edges are curved vs this one itâs more angular. Depends on what your kitty likes I suppose. I recommend both the square one and the round feather perk a boo toys. Both excellent and affordable and fun for kitty. Highly recommend either one.

My cat goose really enjoys his new toy. He has been playing with it since it arrived. He has already chewed off the feather but is still enjoying it. It really engages his hunting instincts I think because he is making chirping noises. The patter is randomized enough to keep my cats interested. It is easy to charge and find the on off switch. I have yet to try changing the feathers out so not sure how easy that is. It also came with two bonus toys. I like that it is rechargeable and doesn’t use batteries. It seems to be fairly quiet to me to spite what other people’s reviews say.Only negative so far is he occasionally flips it over and can’t play with it. So we have to come over and flip it back over for him.Would buy again, I think it’s a good purchase.
