Queen electric blanket
Very well made. I like that there are 2 completely separate controls, one for each side. A plug in on both sides made it much easier to place underneath with the cords being plenty long enough. Each side can be set at different temperatures and for different times. Color was exactly as described and very soft fabric. Would definitely purchase again.

Extremely Warm Blanket!
This heated blanket is awesome! There are so many great points to this Sunbeam heating blanket!PROS;*Very large blanket – we got the queen and it is perfect for our bed!,*2 seperate heating sections with 2 seperate controlers – this function made my fiance’ very happy,*The plug/cord is very long and is flat so sits perfectly under our mattress,*The cords between the plug and the controlers, and then between the controlers themselves are very long and can be tucked away so there is no tripping hazard,*The very long corded area tucks nicely between the wall and mattress – which is nice because you are not wrapped up in a cord while you sleep,*The cord is very thick and does not get warm at all,*The controlers are thick and very well-made,*The controlers come with an on/off button – a heat setting up level 12 – and a hour setting for how many hours you want before it turns off autmatically,*This heating blanket has been a total life saver as temps have been down to 14 degrees and my heating unit is out – I have been able to turn on the blanket to warm the bed while I cook dinner on setting 8 and then turn down to setting 2 when I climb into bed and be super comfy with no heater in my home!*The power cord can be removed from blanket for cleaning, comes with a paper saying how to safely wash the blanket.CONS;I honestly cannot think of any, lol

Works and is comfortable; takes a long time to heat up
Comfortable and warm, this has really improved my sleeping, but it’s too easy to set it too high, because it takes a long time to heat up, so you might be fooled into thinking you don’t have it set high enough, tempting you to use a higher setting than you really want. I wish there were some sort of actual temperature scale rather than just the settings 1-12, so you had some idea what the setting meant, but trial and error is standard practice for electric blankets. Eventually you’ll figure out that “3” or “4” (or whatever) is your favorite setting.The safety instructions are pretty explicit about not tucking in any part of the blanket that has heating elements and not running the power cord under the mattress or between the mattress and the bed frame. But the cord plugs into the blanket right in the middle of one of the short sides (I have the twin size), meaning that the plug is meant to attach near the foot of the bed — otherwise it would be right by your face. Fortunately, the control box is still reachable to someone under the blanket, because they’ve allowed ample length for the cord to reach from the controls to the blanket while remaining outside the bed frame.The controls consist of a power on-off switch, up and down buttons for the heat setting, and up and down buttons for the shutoff time setting. There’s an LCD display with a backlight that’s pretty bright at night, but it automatically turns the light off after a minute or so of not pressing any buttons. Kudos to Sunbeam for having both up and down buttons; some controls I’ve seen have only an up button that makes you cycle back around through all the settings if you miss the one you want.The blanket’s material itself is rather light and quite soft. They’re not going to use a thick, heavy material that inhibits heat transfer, because that defeats the purpose of an electric blanket, but they’re not going to wrap the heating elements in tinfoil either. I think Sunbeam’s chosen a happy medium here: a light, soft fabric. You can feel the heating elements, as you can with any electric blanket. You probably won’t want to use it by itself; you’ll probably want another blanket or at least a sheet.

the package was a little damaged but the blanket wasn’t. the blanket is light but comfortable and warms up quickly. it was a little more than i wanted to pay but since it keeps me warm at night, it is well worth it. i don’t know how long it will last but at the moment, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a light weight blanket meant to go over your top sheet. Not on the mattress directly.The single control is lit and easy to use – even for a 94 year young mother-in-law. It heats fast. Twelve levels make it easy to pick what is right for you. It even has a self-set timer to shut off automatically. She loves it. Sunbeam is still a reliable product. Thx.
