Great for long fur but works pretty well on short fur too!
My cats love this brush! They are both have short hair so you have to use a bit of pressure when brushing to get the fur to stick in there. But they love the massage of it all. The push button gizmo works great to get the fur off in a jiffy without any hassle. Great grooming tool!!

My cats love to be brushed each morning (they get treats afterwards)! I just tap the brush on the floor and they come running! I have tried several of this type of brush and this one is the best because it is easy to remove the hair when you press the button on the handle! A couple of the other ones I have previously purchased did not work so easily! They were hard to press and the bristles became bent! But not this brush!

great idea, bristles need work
I ordered this cat brush because I like the idea that a button pushes the cat hair away from the bristles for easy cleaning. That feature works like a charm and is a great idea.The bristles need some improvement however. They are a very thin metal and I don’t think they will hold up well over repeated use over time. And even though the tips have protective covers, they are still quite stiff and not as comfortable for the cat as plastic bristles. Neither of my cats like this brush very much.

Gone are the days of trying to scrape the hair out of a brush with another comb- the button easily releases all of the hair and prevents the brush from getting a bunch of buildup! My long haired cat needs to be brushed almost every day and the bristles on here are gentle and donât irritate him! Highly recommend!
