BEST dog bed, especially for seniors!
Absolutely the best dog beds I’ve bought in 15 years, paws down – I will never purchase a different brand again.We currently have 3 other dog beds that I previously bought from different companies around our home, but once I purchased these – 5 months ago – both of our dogs consistently prefer to lay on them and ignore the others. It is so obvious the comfort and relaxation that they experience from these terrific beds – we have been totally amazed.Our two dogs are also senior (15 yrs/40 lb shepherd mix, 14 yrs/10 lb chihuahua), with the shepherd mix being a recent cancer survivor (part of her flank was cut out), has arthritis in her hips, and has over a dozen small & large lipomas all over. She’s still extremely active, though, so loves to lay down with us at the end of the day and relax, as does our little chihuahua. But our shepherd mix, especially, can have a tough time getting comfortable and often prefers just the hard floor. In the past she would ignore all of the other ‘orthopedic’-type beds that I would buy, which were usually way more expensive as well.However, they are in love with these plushy, soft, but still very firmly supportive beds that contour to their bodies. The beds are extremely well made with high quality, very velvety material and evenly curved support that isn’t ‘stuffed’ or filled with loosely gathered cheap material that either bunches up or breaks down in a few months of wear and tear. The colors are also very nice (I’m an artist so often have a hard time finding cool/interesting colors that match our unusual home decor/colors) but surprisingly these colors are very rich and look beautifully sophisticated while blending in well for any household style.If our dogs could speak human they would give these beds 4 paws up and a 5 bark rating! You and your dog won’t be disappointed, trust us!PS: I bought a size up from what was recommended and that seemed to work best for our gals so they could really stretch out, especially since our larger dog has very long legs and she loves resting her head on the curved end like a pillow.

Sturdy and Comfortable
Super comfortable yet sturdy. My dog likes to play with beds but this one he has not been able to since it is somewhat heavy and large. I have a Golden Retriever that is 74 lbs. I went with one size bigger than what the picture recommended for golden retrievers which if I remember correctly might have been the Jumbo. I wanted a size that gave him enough space for him to lay across without his legs or head hanging out. He likes to have the built in pillow which has the perfect lift… not too much or too little. I totally recommend this bed. It is so worth the price, plus my dog totally deserves it… every dog does.

Incredible Comfort and Great value
My 65-lb dog got three of these for his 13th birthday. I had been shopping pricier alternatives, but I only would have been able to buy one. He has three nap zones, so I was frustrated. Then I found these for about 1/3 the price of the others for the same features. They are instantly his favorite beds. He was on the first one before it even finished expanding!! He’s definitely more comfortable and happier. In fact he’s living his best life.Some suggestions: measure your dog when he/she is fully stretched out and get a bed that’s bigger. This is so important for bigger dogs that often don’t have enough space to stretch out. Mine used to sleep on my bed but now he can’t jump up on it.Also wait for the bed to expand before evaluating it. It’s like the mattresses that come in a box. It needs time to fully prep itself.

Cheap, easily destroyed
Size, thickness and shape of bed is AWESOME!!!! Love the orthopedic foam. Unfortunately, my 8 month old Old English Sheepdog chewed through the outer luxe casing in less than 5 minutes and remains intrigued at the foam insides (although she hasn’t chewed at the foam yet). The outer case (pillowcase) is not durable for any pup in my opinion. It attracts dirt and debris (like leaves and burrs carried in by my pup) and is difficult to keep clean. But mostly, it is just thin, easy to destroy material. IF this bed had a durable cover, it would be THE MOST awesome bed. But i need my pup bed to be fairly easy to clean, and more “puppy proof” in regards to chewing. My pup is NOT a chewer, but she does pick at things. Im sure she pulled a thread loose in under a minute and tore the covering in under 5.

Riesig aber wirklich mega bequem ist wie eine Matratze so weich

Wir benutzen es eigentlich nur im Urlaub im Wohnwagen. Jetzt ist mir aufgefallen, dass wir an 5 Stellen schon den Bezugbeschädigt haben. Unser Hund liegt aber nur normal darauf und zerstört es nicht. Somit kann ich es überhaupt nicht empfehlen, da es jetzt in Summe ca. 3 Wochen benutzt wurde und schon total beschädigt ist und das nur bei normaler Nutzung.
