More durable than I expected
This 11 scoop set was priced at under 75 cents per scoop so I was unsure what kind of quality to expect. I am very pleasantly surprised that these are all very nice quality scoops, albeit lightweight. Manufactured to a smooth and precise standard I believe “lightweight” is the apt descriptor, not “cheap.” Sometimes nutritional supplement powders that I use contain a scoop inside, and those are “cheap” while these are not, just lightweight and thinner than traditional kitchenware.The thin and light design is great for certain things. For example I like a certain amount of chopped nuts added to my oatmeal. By keeping the proper scoop inside the nuts container I am always ready to dole out exactly what I need in one motion. This could apply to lots of things; raisins, sugar, etc. A very handy use is to keep the properly sized scoop with the coffee beans. Then it’s one scoop, one motion, from beans to coffee grinder.As lightweight scoops I have no illusions they can last decades and be passed on to grandkids the way that old school metal measuring cups can, but these are still great quality scoops at a great value.
