Great presentation pointer
Bought this as a presentation pointer. It does just what it says as a pointer. I like that it has a slider on-off switch on the side so it doesn’t accidentally activate in your pocket and run the battery down. Also it is has a rectangular profile instead of tubular, so it doesn’t roll off the podium onto the floor – good design! Didn’t try the slide-control function, but nice that the USB antenna stores nicely in the pointer; I’ve lost similar things in the past because they are hard to keep together. I’d buy this again. BTW, no AAA battery was included, which is not a big deal, but if you are expecting one, don’t be disappointed.

Easy Set-up
Truly a plug & play device. Inserted the provided USB connection and when I opened up PowerPoint I was able to control slides as described. Pointer works as expected. Only potential down side is that the manual on/off switch will not auto-power down if you forget to turn it off. It hasn’t happened to me yet, but I feel like it’s bound to happen sooner or later! 🙂
