I’m expecting limited playtime…
My dog hasn’t torn this up yet, since I learned my lesson with the other JW squeak toys and limit her time with them. It is NOT easy to squeak at all. I actually have to BEND IT IN HALF to hear the squeak, because I can’t get it to squeak when I squeeze it! The elusive squeak makes my dog want to bite harder and it spelled the end for the JW “ruffians” chicken and “megalast” dog toy, which were not easy to squeak either. Does not feel as thick as I’d prefer it to be on the ends, and since I’m already keeping it from her, I am tempted to just toss it out before my dog destroys it.

I love JW products, we’ve had a few over the years. I was happy to be able to purchase one for my newest addition to our furbabys, but when I received the item and tested it out I found that the squeaker was not very good. I’ve never found an issue with the bone before, so it was disappointed. I’ve seen some others have mentioned the same issue as well, so I will be returning mine. I’m going to see about getting another one, and will see if the same thing occurs. Hopefully we will have better luck next time. The other issue I noted was that this bone seemed to be a smaller than the dimensions listed on the description. I would say this bone would be best for a dog 60lbs and smaller, as another reviewer mentioned. If you have a dog bigger than that go with the large bone.***Update: I got the large bone instead for my lab. He isn’t a huge chewer, so this item works well for him. It is a little hard in terms of squeaking, so he doesn’t use it often, but these kinds of things are hit-or-miss, my Mom’s labs love theirs. I’m looking forward to spring when we can use it outside for fetch as it is a little big and hard for good playing in the house. I am changing the stars and giving it a 4 instead of the lower score it received because of the problem with the squeaker on the first one I received. I do which there was a size inbetween the two I’ve received, it would be prefect I think.

Doggie toy.
We bought this for our our Frenchie Sammy. He had the squeaker tore out in about 20 min He hasnât gotten the rest torn up yet. This is the toy he begs for in the evening. Heâs trying to get a piece off of it but with no luck. He really works on it hard.He got a piece sort of torn so we went ahead and cut that off so he still has quite a bit left. The only thing I donât like about it is that it gets so slimy. He does really like it and has lasted quite awhile.Will probably buy another when he needs it.

No squeker in it and was destroyed in less than 24 hours . Waste of money
So far so good for durability but there was no squeaker in it and its called the “I-squeak?”Update: This is day 2 and its already in the trash because she chewed it up in less than 24 hours and I found her eating the rubber remnants. Not as durable as the bowling pin. That took my pup almost a month to destroy. I wont be buying the bone again.

This is squeaky bone is amazing! My dog usually destroys things like this in a week or two. Over a month later and you cannot tell he’s even chewed it even though it’s his favorite! The vanilla scent really lasts too which I’m super impressed with!
