Great no steroid product to alleviate pet scratching and licking
Purchased this product for my dog who has atopic dermatitis and chews and licks his paws frequently despite oral medication. Vet has given us a steroid and anti microbial spray to use but I would like to minimize steroids on my pet who subsequently licks that off anyway. Really like this product for his skin because no steroids or antibiotics and it works really well for him. Only con is that I wish the bottle was sold in a larger size. No smell which is great. Happy that I can use a more natural solution on my pets skin.

A must have for our babies boo boos.
I have large breed dogs. They play rough, have the occasional âdisagreementâ, etc. and someone seems to always have some sort of scrape, cut, and what have you. This product heals them right up quickly. It doesnât bother them at all and has no smell that prompts licking or unwelcome interest from the other dogs.One of my dogs recently impaled himself on a bamboo spike. The wound was big and deepâ¦right before a holiday weekend no less when an emergency room visit would have been thousands. I am NOT recommending anyone play vet, but Iâd be homeless if I ran to the Dr for everything my dogs got themselves into. It seemed to bother me more than it did him as he was running around like nothing happened.3 days into antibiotics, although we had no infection, the wound wasnât showing any signs of closing. I started spraying this into it, filling the cavity completely and letting it pool up in there. To avoid the outer layers closing before the inside healed (which could create an abscess), I then filled the hole with triple antibiotic ointment after letting this stuff soak in for a bit, kept it covered, etc. I had been using the ointment all along but couldnât believe the results once I incorporated this product into the regimen. It looked better every time I checked it throughout the day. After day 1, he wasn’t fussing with it at all and after 2-3 days itâs almost healed. I didnât even need to see my vet once their office re-opened after the holiday.Again, NOT recommending anyone forgo proper medical care when itâs called for but at times, we do what we have to do. This product will forever be in my canine first aid kit. I imagine it would work wonders for those who battle regular skin irritations, hot spots, etc.

2 dogs with almost identical abscesses, the one treated with antibiotics took abo8t 5 weeks to clear. The second dog I used this product on took about 1.5 weeks to clear

Amazing for skin irritation
We ordered this stuff on a whim because our American Bulldog suffers from terrible skin allergies from spring to winter when the snow finally starts to fall. It’s bonkers how many lotions and creams and pills we’ve tried to keep his allergies under control. Giving him lots of prescriptions or shots wasn’t an option as too many of those can cause more problems than help.This spray has been nothing short of miraculous to heal his pyoderma and red, irritated skin. It’s doesn’t happen overnight, though there IS an appreciable change in the health of his skin within 24 hours of starting to use this spray. Between gently cleaning his lower half (tummy, armpits, legs, feet) after each trip outside and then each night spraying well with this PetSilver Spray, his skin was healed within ten days. We continue to use this spray as a preventative, and it’s kept his skin in excellent condition all winter long. No dry or flaky skin, no minor irritations after getting a bath, and his “Frito feet” have even improved.While this isn’t the cheapest doggo skin treatment out there, of the hundreds we’ve tried this is by far the best and well worth the price.
