Slow Down
My chocolate lab was a pig in his previous life. He doesn’t eat, he inhales food. I’ve tried many slow feeding bowls and bowl inserts, but this one wins. It’s easy to clean, durable, and adds plenty of time to each meal. It will easily hold up to 4 cups of food. I hand wash the bowl; I’m unsure whether it would hold up in the dishwasher. Highly recommend and will buy again if necessary.

Have dog with eating disorder… it works
We’ve used this for about a week . My 100 pound dog is down 10 pounds, with 20 to go,. He used to inhale his bowl in less than a minute, often choking and then vomiting after. With this puzzle style bowl, it forces them to use their tongues and it took mine 15 minutes to eat. He has already stopped acting like he was going to have a stroke if he wasn’t fed b4 7pm. Idk what the magic is, but it is working so well. I’ll update if he continues to lose the necessary weight. We gave one to our older dog after he got very jealous that his buddy’s food was lasting so much longer and he looked like he knew he was getting the short end is the stick, even trying to shoot him over to share. I think they bothhated it on day 1, but by day 2… no issues. Only wish I had ordered a stainless one instead of plastic style. That’s on me though. Product is better than expected… results are showing it.

Better for kibble than soft food
Very good at slowing rate of dog’s eating. With kibble it works especially well. With soft food, not as much. It’s hard to get the soft food into the narrow places. In spite of that, my dog who is fed a combination of kibble and soft food manages to lick the bowl clean each time!

Really slowed down my dogs eating
I had a different slow feeder but realized it wasnât too deep and wasnât that effective. I ordered a few and tried this one out. Normally my dog can consume his cup and a half in under 30 seconds (even with his old slow feeder). Just used this tonight and itâs been over five minutes and I can still hear him eating. Seems like itâs also enrichment for them to try and get the last of the food from the bottom. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Biggest bowl i could find
Holds 4 cups if not a little more. For the most part it does the job but the fins could of came a little higher. Nice thick material.

This didn’t really work for a large puppy
We tried this on our large puppy and all he did was flip it and spread the kibble all over the floor (which was obviously his goal). Probably work better with a less frantic adult dog.

i bought this for my doberman puppy because he was eating too fast so i was worried about his digestion. This bowl prevents him for eating as fast. he eats raw food so i pack it in the grooves and works great. perfect size for him too. very durable

Great bowl, looks very durable and much nicer than the pic!I didn’t rate the ease to clean or suction power as the bowl doesn’t have suction cups and will be difficult to get clean without using the dishwasher…but that’s obvious due to the raised areas to slow the pup down while eating.

My 10 month old chocolate lab use to inhale his food, now he’s got to work for it. He went from eating in 30 seconds, to a few minutes. It’s made strong and heavy but it can use some suction cup on the bottom cause now he chased his bowl around the kitchen while eating.
