30 seconds has now become at least 5 minutes
I make homemade dog food for my dog that has a very sensitive stomach. It’s about 2 cups each feeding of cooked ground turkey, peas and carrots, and brown rice. It fits in this bowl very well. The bowl could probably hold 5 cups total. I timed him, and he was taking 30 seconds to eat. That’s way too fast. Using this bowl slowed him down to at least 5 minutes. The first feeding, he was a little confused halfway through as that’s when the real work began, but I encouraged him to keep going. He’s doing well with it. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and is a great size.

Love that this dish slows my dog down eating wise. My dog would eat 2 cups in less than 2 minutes. Now it takes him longer. Every once in a while you might have to flip a few kernels out of the dish. Over all a good product for those fast eaters.

Bought this for my Shepard to keep him from eating too fast. Not a drastic slow down, but enough. But the biggest deal was finding one that would fit his elevated feeder, and this one does, just make sure you measure the opening of your feeder.

Great deep and well designed slow feeder
This bowl is great as it is deep enough to hold a pound of raw food so I would imagine it will hold a lot of kibble. The dividers make it challenging and definitely slow my dogâs eating. It does not have suction but I am using it in a large standing feeder and it fits fine. Easy dishwasher cleaning.

It slows my dogs eating down, it doesnât fit in the elevated dog feeder. Should have read the measurements clearly. But other than that does what it says.

Really slows down my dog
Takes my Dobie at least 10 minutes to eat from this bowl. She would just inhale her food if I didnât use something. She had a silicone insert before, but she destroyed it in a week. So far she hasnât tried to chew this one up.

Ich bin super zufrieden und es hat meinen Hund gerettet, er hatte durch zu schnelles fressen schmerzen und schrieh jedesmal auf. Seitdem wir diesen Napf haben war nie wieder etwas und er kann nichtmehr schlingen. Er passt auch in unsere Napferhöhung. Super Zufrieden !

Fits into raised bowl holder (a little smaller width wise so does turn when pet is eating). Fits same amount of food as usual. Slowed eating time right down (frustrating to pet – for now), but it is much needed. Takes a little more time to clean than standard bowl but hopefully will be worth it in the end. Can’t comment on quality but time will tell.
