Not too cooling
Purchased for my dog and he rarely used it, when he did use it, it would heat up quickly. Not recommended for large breed dogs. I had a cooling mat before and it would keep its temperature whereas this one did not, it ended up getting hot within minutes. Invest in a product that will actually work and keep your pet cool.

I wish it was a bit bigger and thicker, but my dog will choose to lay on it. I don’t know how much cooler it makes her feel. Maybe it just softens the spot. I poured water on it and it really cooled it. I’m glad I got it so she has one more thing to keep her cooler in this 100°+ weather. I might try to soak it and put it in the freezer to see if she will like that. I believe she likes it because she hasn’t torn it up or dragged it away. BTW, she also has a wading pool that she ignores to lay on this.

*Edit to add that although this isn’t what the ad made it seem. My dogs absolutely love them!!This is not a self activated cooling blanket like the description leads you to believe. It is a thin blanket. Not really worth the money.

outdoor cat loves it
Our outdoor cat loves this mat. we have started taking care of several strays and one cat that decided to take up residence in our patio outside, which we’ve enclosed now to protect him. now that it’s getting warmer he needed some place cool to lay on. this mat is perfect. cools fast , easy to clean. can go through the washer. do not dry in the tumble dryer. clothesline only.

Not worth it!
Was looking forward to getting it for my pup. When I got it, its a flimsy and thin sheet. Does absolutely nothing to cool off. I washed it and stitches came apart. Waste of money.
