Impressive
I bought a bottle (begrudgingly) due to cost. That being said, after giving my Doberman a bath, it proved to be outstanding . I purchased the short hair version. It took less overall compared to other products I’ve used. It lathered, cleaned and rinsed extremely well. The smell was very light and clean. It left her coat extremely shiny and soft. Bottom line: It may cost more but you will use less and the performance is outstanding.

Caveat: this is a dog who is accustomed to regular grooming and is always cooperative about it.This shampoo (with no added conditioner or detangling product) gave us the easiest and best blowout ever. Her coat always has minor snarls after she gets wet, and they brushed out easily following her bath with this shampoo.The drying itself seemed faster than usual, and she was so soft and fluffy.The scent was pleasant, but not strong. (I always dilute shampoo before applying to minimize residue on the skin).It lathered nicely and I felt that her coat got very clean. She generally smelled like a pleasant version of herself, if that makes sense.She was more relaxed than usual for the brush/blowdry part, she lay on her side and let me work without fidgeting or âprotectingâ her most tangled regions.Value for money⦠(Amazon asked) If youâre willing to do the work, you are likely to be pleased enough with this product to justify the price. If you are just looking to scrub mud or stink off your dog and are ok letting with how their coat clumps naturally afterwards, you might be happy with whatâs available at TJ Maxx, etc for a lower price. Since I always dilute shampoo (I fill an empty shampoo bottle most of the way with water, then add maybe 2 tablespoons of shampoo), this will cost approximately $1 per bath.This product will not do the work for you. This kind of coat must be brushed and blow dried to prevent matting.I would recommend this product (curly coat version) in between regular professional groomings. If your dog is matted now, he or she may need to be shaved before you can allow the coat to grow as long as this ladyâs without tangling. She typically sees her groomer every 6 weeks and we do a bath and blowout once or twice in between, depending on whether it rains and/or if sheâs had a chance to swim or get muddy.

I have been grooming my dog (mini Australian Shepherd) for the last few years and thought the shampoos I used were doing a good job; I wasnât getting the same results as when I used to take him to a professional groomer but figured I wasnât cutting enough hair off.BOY WAS I WRONG – the PROBLEM was the shampoos I was using werenât getting enough of his âdeadâ/shed but not released hair off!!I brushed my dog pre bath and thought I got a lot of the shed off. I put him in the bath, let him soak in some water, then took the hand held sprayer to really saturate his double coat with water. I applied the Double Coat shampoo directly to his skin and on top of his coat. Within seconds I see clumps of hair releasing from his coat! I decided to wet him a little more after applying the shampoo to get a better lather and then went with a wide tooth comb to work the product from roots to ends; even more hair was coming out. I honestly got a little scared by the amount of hair coming out so after a few minutes I decided to focus on rinsing the product out. I could immediately notice a difference in the texture of his fur after it was rinsed – it felt so clean!!!I did quickly use his normal conditioner on the top layer of his fur, rinsed, and began the drying process.As his fur started to dry I felt how soft, light, and airy it was – I havenât achieved this level of results ever; only the groomers were able to do this. As I was drying his hair I noticed even more dead undercoat come blowing out with the dryer too!End result, my dog looks amazing and honestly seems happier – I wish I wouldâve known about this product sooner!!!As for the smell, I liked the smell, I can see how some folks say that it is a little strong but thatâs only while the product is in the fur, once itâs washed out it fades away but my dog still smells fresh 24 hours later.TLDR: groomer quality shampoo, will continue to purchase although I feel I will get quite a few washes out of this bottle. My dog looks (and I can tell feels) like a million bucks! Wish I wouldâve known about this shampoo sooner. If you have a dog with a double coat – BUY THIS NOW!

soft smell, soft dog, no irritation
I have pibbles. They have sensitive skin. Some shampoos I’ve tried have left them itchy and irritated, so much that they’d need to be bathed again with a different shampoo. So here we are, trying a new shampoo. This worked great, lathered nicely, smells nice and clean but is not overly perfume-y, and left the dogs’ coats nice and shiny and soft. It’s been a few days and they have not been itchy at all.

Got this shampoo for my short haired dog and it’s really great. Works well to get him clean and helps to remove loose hair. Smell is great as well. It is not overpowering but lasts for a few days keep my pup fresh. Highly recommend. Does not irritate his skin or cause him any discomfort.

Excellent Dog Shampoo
I have 2 bully mixes, both seniors. My male is 10 1/2 and as of late, he has been having an issue with dry skin and shedding. He always had a coarser coat than most bullies, and its only gotten worse with time. I tried this shampoo for the first time yesterday. I immediately noticed the smell. It wasnât overpowering, it smelled clean. The pointed nozzle helps you get deep under the coat and it lathers really well. He rinsed right off and, once I dried him, I immediately noticed a huge difference. His hair wasnât as brittle and coarse and he smelled so good. Today, his coat is shiny and less flakey. If I get these results after one wash, Iâm excited to see what continued use will do for him.

We have a 4 year old dog & he is allergic to grass & other things. I used this product on him & he LOVES it. He is super clean & smells great. His fur is much softer. He seems to be shedding less. I highly recommend! 10 outta 10!

Tried this 3-in-1 shampoo for our dog. I am sensitive to scents, so I wasn’t a fan of the white tea and basil scent. Out of the bottle, the fragrance was a bit too strong smelling for my liking.For baths, I use this shampoo very sparingly. It lathers well and easily rinses out.Not a fan of the lid. It is not designed like food condiment squeeze bottles, where you twist the lid (and the lid stays on) to dispense the product. This lid needs to be completely twisted off.

I really took my time looking into dog shampoos and after reading TONS of reviews for different brands, decided to try Earth Rated and I couldnât be happier.Loved:- Not a strong scent so my pup smells lovely and fresh but not artificial. I love my doggies natural scent.- Lathers nicely in short hair.- Makes my pups hair feel sooo soft and silky. Whenever she gets pets, people always comment on how smooth she feels.- gets rids of odours. My dog once rolled in some sort of poop, not dog, something much stronger. I bought this specifically for my 2 double coat dogs (Australian Shepherd and Pyrenees) and they are so soft after using it!! The shampoo helped with shedding and getting the dirt out. I would recommend. Very light scent as well, you can smell they are clean but it’s not overpowering.
