Amazing!
I absolutely love this product! We have 2 dogs and 3 cats in our house which means a lot of shedding. Both of our dogs are double coated, making it terrible in the summer and winter. All of our animals love this product and our cats even know where to jump to be brushed. It is comfortable for everyone and removes the unwanted hair easily. I also like that I can brush a section multiple times if needed unlike other types of pet brushes. As a former dog bather, I would definitely recommend!

Godsend
We have 4 cats, 2 of which are double coated. We saw girlwith2dogs on YouTube using this when she grooms cats, and it’s AMAZING! The boys love getting brushed out with it, and we’ve gotten SO MUCH of their loose undercoat out! The other two also like it, and they’re SO SOFT afterwards! Definitely worth the money, especially if you have animals with undercoats!

Really pulls out hair, w/o the cat or bunny minding
Itâs very effective. Iâm not sure how I can be brushing every day and still be getting piles of fur. Thought it would calm down a bit. The cat sits still for it, but grumbles about her back end. Loves it on her head and neck and under chin. Main body also fine, but sheâs less fond of it, compared to her head and neck bliss. As sheâs not cleaning her back end well, there are a few small mats near the top of her legs. This doesnât work well on those. The bunny also enjoys this brush. Better than the Kong brush. Heâs never appreciated that too much, unless heâs trying to nibble the spikes.

My dog hated being grommed and she sheds quite a bit so it was a battle. I saw this on a blog and couldnât be happier. It is worth every penny. The design of it is easy to hold and clean the fur from it. Since my dog sheds, I usually put a towel down and she comes right away and lays down. You would think she is getting a massage. I recommend 100%. Oh⦠my dog has short, straight hair.

Better alternative than vacuuming the floof at the source
Meet Max, my serial shedder. Max is a normal coated short haired kitty who doesnât necessarily enjoy being brushed. Iâve tried everything from combs to almost vacuuming the floof at the source. I find that most brushes and combs arenât able to remove the same amount of hair in such a short period of time as the equi groomer.I stumbled across this product while watching girl with the dogs on YouTube (they a groomer for cats and dogs) and she recommended it for short haired animals. I ordered one for Max since I was dying to cut down on the mini Max tumbleweeds in the house. The first time I used this on him I was amazed. In just a few strokes of the equi groomer on Max, I already had a pile of hair. Max has a short timer with his tolerating period of being brushed so the equi groomer being as efficient as it is, is a godsend.The product is made of wood and a metal (sawtooth) style blade that grabs at the hair of the animal. The product is simple to use and is a great value for the price. Iâve had this for a few years now and have not seen any lack of performance in the teeth of the brush.The equi groomer for cats is a bit larger than the hand so itâs easy to hold. They do make larger ones for large dogs and horses if you need a larger one.Iâd recommend this to anyone who has a furry companion with short hair that is always shedding.

Cat matting gone! Not just a horse tool!
Our fat boy got too big for his britches and can no longer groom himself properly. As he’s a barn cat, it got a little out of control and he had dreds before we realized he couldn’t reach his back anymore and needed help. Bought this and even though we trained the barn kittens to tolerate it first, we finally got him to sit still long enough to figure out it felt good to be brushed and now he’s all gorgeous again. No more matted hair! Keep his shedding hair clear with a daily brush down he actually begs for, now that he knows it feels nice, and will sit still… kinda. One of the best pet tools we’ve ever bought! Dogs are now trained to let us use it on them too.

Effective and the cat likes it
My very elderly cat, a shorthair, really likes this groomer. She has sensitive skin and has recently become less attentive to her grooming, but has never liked regular combs and brushes. She reacts to this, though, as to a thorough petting, even petitioning for more. More important, from my perspective, it is highly effective in ridding her of dead skin cells and loose fur. She’s a small cat, so I bought the smaller size, which works out well. I especially like the comfortable wooden grip.

Great size and very gentle. Works amazing for my rabbits, they have fine fur and delicate skin and this is one of the brushes they don’t run from. Doesn’t collect the hair but it makes little clumps that are easy to clean. Brush is metal so it should hold up. Very easy to use.
