There were no instructions to put this together. It took a little time, but I finally found a video on how to construct it. The video was somewhat on high speed so I had to keep pausing it to see what her hands just did. However, the post is sturdy and attractive enough for my living room. My cat has been intrigued by it.

My cats love the marble tracks, but we did have to secure the base under a door and a shelf to keep it from tipping over. Also, it was missing the pompom on a spring. Fortunately, I had one left over from the scratching post that recently broke that this one replaced.

In this video, my kitten is six months old. Iâve had him for two months and itâs been a full-time job keeping up with his energy level. Find myself during whatever it takes to keep him occupied so he doesnât destroy things. As soon as I set this up and put A few treats on it, heâs been playing with it all day. Pushing the balls around is endlessly fascinating to him. Iâm grateful that I can get some things done while he plays. Also, you need to replenish the scratching posts after a while. He annihilated the first one I got him, which was smaller. Weâre graduating to higher heights. It was easy to assemble even for me.

I would give this post more than 5 stars if I could. First, it looks great and is very sturdy. But those are things that don’t matter much to my cats.What DOES matter to them is the fun factor. All three of them – even Chonky Potato Girl – went NUTS for the four little balls that roll around in the track at the bottom. They actually ALL played together with those balls at the same time. This never happens!I LOVE the bottom of the post. Rather than carpet or plush, it’s some kind of silicon or plastic covered in soft bristles, like a brush. Chonky Potato Girl’s favorite thing in the whole world is a good brushing, and when she figured out she can brush HERSELF on this post, she was in kitty utopia.Mental Void Monster wasted no time clawing her way right to the top of the post. It wobbled a bit under her nine pounds but stayed upright and was never in danger of falling.REALLY REALLY HAPPY with this, and if they ever destroy it, I’ll absolutely order another one right away.
