Protecting my carpet
At night, my cats have their own room. But sometimes they want out. And the way they let me know is that theyâre scratching at the door and scratching the carpet. This work like magic and easy to cut for the doorways. I actually bought two one for inside and one for outside. Iâm not being mean they have the run of the house during the day and their room has all kinds of cat things for them to enjoy. But I like to sleep and they donât let me this is the perfect solution.

Stopped cat from ripping up carpet
We have a lot of damage from our cat ripping up the carpet during the night. We were desperate to stop this activity. This helps. She stared at the plastic and moved on to other things. Whew! I do have to stay that we cut the roll into 4 sections. I didn’t have enough of the white adhesive sheet to secure it. I slipped on the largest section so do be careful. It’s narrow enough for us to just step over it. I certainly don’t want to fall.

Just what I needed
My cats trear up the carpet at the doors and this is perfect!! Works great. You do have to cut it to fit like in the picture. It comes rolled up, but it lays flat when placed in position on the floor. I highly recommend. Great price as well.

Carpet protector
I used this to protect my carpet from my cats digging up the carpet by the back door. It took a few days for it to lay flat. But other than that… no complaints so far. I hope it does the trick!

Kitty Scratch Protector
My cat recently started scratching at the carpet on our stairs only on certain steps. This was the perfect solution and has stopped him from ruining the carpet. You can easily cut to fit the plastic wherever it is needed and I still had plenty leftover for future use. This is a thick material but I don’t even notice walking over it anymore.

It does itâs job and it even came with some type of nails/screws to attach it to couches if thatâs what you bought it for. I just bought it for the floor and it worked. It does have an initial plasticky smell, but itâs been a few weeks and I donât smell it anymore

Our cats like to spray/pee in random spots when theyâre upset with us so weâve resorted to blocking off their common areas in the hops the smell prevents them from doing it again. So far weâve noticed the carpet protector has stayed in place without an object on it. Initially we had to put a heavy weight on the plastic to get it to lay flat, but after a day it didnât need the weight to stay.The color is a cloudy/clear plastic so it does make the plastic noticeable on the carpet. If you want to cover a larger area, consider getting a large piece instead of a roll. Overall, its effective for what we need it for but we wonât be keeping it on the carpet long term due to the cloudy plastic look.
