This is NOT just for duck calls
I bought this lanyard for a friend of mine who has diabetes so bad that he has lost sensitivity in his hands. He loves to fish but was dropping his fishing rod and reel and had about lost more than one over board when casting. We took one end of lanyard and attached it to his fishing pole and the other to his wrist and it works PERFECTLY !!!!!!!!!

The whistle is great
I purchased one of the silent whistles before and it had absolutely zero effect on my dog, even though he is whistle trained. My friend who walks with me on our off-leash pack walks used her whistle and my dog responded. So I ordered this type of whistle. However the mechanics of the string around your neck is baffling. And no directions or hints?????

It is just as it looks and it works well. The duck call slips easily in as does the whistle. Good value for the price.

Functional but could be better
I like the length. The know does not stay snug around the duck call like other call lanyards. I thinks itâs because of the diameter of the rope. Constantly having to snug up the knot holding my call.
