This shepards hook is just wonderful. The section are well made and screw together perfectly. It even comes with a tool to tighten the hex screens for the top section hooks and the price is very reasonable too.

Shepherds pole
Nice heavy metal. The best feature was it was adjustable (just leave out a section ). Got it to the perfect height for viewing from the dining room window.But when set up at its maximum height itâs too high to easily hang bird feeders without a ladder so I put together a hook on a plastic gardening pole (photo attached – itâs not a neat and pretty thing but itâs light in weight and doesnât bend) and it keeps me off a ladder I donât need to climb. Suggest manufacturer create something similar to sell with the high (104â) Shepards pole. Besides hanging bird feeders it works great hanging Christmas ornament’s or lights in trees outside. Very good stand for the money
This replaces an older stand that had rusted out. There are a few things I really like about this new stand compared to the old one. The sections screw together instead of clipping together. That makes the stand sturdier. I sprayed some WD-40 on the threads to possibly prevent rust. That may or may not work. There are four spikes at the base of the stand to anchor it into the ground. I like that two of the spikes are free floating. All forks were fixed on my old stand and they rusted out and broke. I’m hoping that won’t happen on this stand, but we’ll see. Overall it seems to be more solid and better built than my old stand.

Double Noah hook
At first glance at it in the box my mom thought it was going to be small and flimsy. Sheâs used to buying them in 1 piece. I put it together, the assembly was easy,1,2,3⦠She was impressed with how tall and sturdy it was and happy she gave it a chance. The hooks are strong she put bird food on one hook and a hanging flower pot on the other. The 4 legs that go in the ground kept it balanced. I was really impressed too!

Standard cheap shepherds hook
There is nothing special about this shepherds hook. Itâs like all the rest in this price range. The pole is skinny and as a result will not stand straight. It will tilt toward the bird feeder that is heaviest. I have a small mesh finch feeder on one hook and a suet feeder on the other (both lightweight). Havenât had any high wind yet to see if it will survive the test. It did come with all the parts and new packaging which was appreciated.

Cannot hold 10â dia. hanging baskets
The hooks are not far enough out from the vertical center rod of the stand. Itâs not stable enough in the ground to support that kind of weight. The stand and 2 hanging plants went lopsided.On the plus side, it is very well built. It didnât bend at all.In hindsight, I shouldâve looked at the pictures more closely. The manufacturer showed smaller items hanging from the hooks.I cleaned it all up and returned it.
