    Smaller size
I really like the smell of this dog shampoo. It’s a high quality shampoo that works well, leaves the coat soft and shiny, and caused no irritation to my pups. The bottle isn’t big, but is also perfect for traveling. Wasn’t disappointed with it at all.

the smell,is wonderful! very nice shampoo!
This shampoo is gentle enough for bare hands and did not over lather but its thin and spreads fast for itchy dogs. My dog isnt itching as much but its been one wash. So I cant say after multiple usage how the itch will fare,as of yet. However, this shampoo is so nice to use that i will love it anyway.

    Dog shampoo
This dog shampoo smells great and seems like it would work well. Unfortunately, the bottle I received was not sealed, and it spilled on itself. Given it was not sealed And it spilled all over I didn’t use it on my dog due to his sensitive skin and my worry of what might contaminated the product

    Very pleased!
My small poodle mix dog was scratching and licking w/ some pink inflamed skin from those actions. 1 pesky flea found during bath 🙁 This is a switch from a natural shampoo I’d used for many years. It def didn’t condition her coat like this does. Very pleased w/ softness of her coat and it seems to have soothed her irritated skin. No scratching or licking since bath 3 hours ago. Light pleasant smell noted when I kiss her head.

Hownd “Yup You Stink” dog shampoo worked fairly well to clean a smelly cat
Full disclosure: my problem was a stinky cat, not a stinky dog. A large, thick-coated senior Persian in my care suddenly developed diarrhea, and the situation rapidly turned into a whole-house, whole-cat “OMG” emergency, with feces smeared and tracked everywhere, and lots of horrible matted, poop-encrusted long fur that I couldn’t clean up or clip off by normal means. After I accepted the reality that this poor girl was going to need a Full Silkwood, I went looking for some high-performance pet shampoo, and that’s when I came across the Hownd “Yup, You Stink” product line. The shampoo was advertised as being a soothing aloe and oat formula that was “….deodorizing & deep cleaning, hypoallergenic, vegan, pH-balanced, and odor-controlling, with the fresh & clean scent of cedarwood and eucalyptus”. Honestly, they had me at cedarwood and eucalyptus, but the other stuff sounded fine too. Hownd wrote that “This pH-balanced formula cleans and moisturizes skin and coat with wheat proteins, oatmeal, argan oil and aloe vera leaf juice leaving your dog clean, shiny and tangle free”. Kitty was yowling and squirming during her bath, and I was trying to work quickly, but I did immediately notice two things about the product; first, that it doesn’t smell like cedarwod and eucalyptus, and second, that it isn’t very sudsy. After a quick undercarriage cleanup we got brushed and combed out, and received a butt shave (well, one of us did). The terrible poo smell was finally gone, but I think there was still a bit of shampoo residue left behind. Overall, I’d say Hownd grooming supplies CAN be used on cats in a pinch, but they probably work better for dogs, since dogs are more likely to put up with multiple applications and longer rinse times.
