Pros & Cons; Annoying Design Flaw
Pros: large, good bottom weight, easy to fill, dog enjoys it.Cons: top comes off easily and is a chew hazard, BAD DESIGN – Internal hole adjustment only…once it is filled you cannot see inside to adjust the holes the food comes out of, the food spills out the bottom while filling/moving if you do not keep the holes closed. So if you want to fill it and then move it to where the dog eats, that’s a problem.

There’s a learning curve, for sure, but this dog puzzle toy is definitely sturdy and well made. It looks like it should hold up to any beating it may take from this one-year-old Bully, or any other large dog. It may be too much for a medium-sized dog, unless it is a bulky breed, but that is just a guess. The reward comes strictly from the dog’s playing and pawing it around, it is not battery powered or anything, meaning it is safe and won’t react unless the dog is interacting with it. It is BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free, so this is good. The dog is unlikely to chew the toy, but it is reassuring that it is free of these known substances. It is also washable. The ad calls it lightweight, but I may disagree with that, of course it may be subjective, too. It is bigger and heavier than I expected (3.21 pounds, according to the box) but this is good for a dog with this amount of strength. It provides a physical and mental workout for her.She was a little scared of it at first but slowly coming around now that she sees it has food in it. The top has a cute little smiley face, more for us “hoomans” than the dog, obviously. The amount of food that comes out is adjustable inside the toy, so you can slowly increase the amount of effort required to get the reward. It is probably a good idea to start with an easier level so the dog can establish a positive feedback loop.It seems like a good addition to Blu’s daily routine and I recommend this for anyone with a large or strong breed of dog. I hope you found this helpful.

4 out of 5 Stars (4.4)⭐⭐⭐⭐[TL;DR][QUALITY] (4/5)[VALUE] (4/5)[EASE OF USE] (4/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]This is our dog’s second treat wobble. His first one he inherited from his older brother after he passed. It was much smaller and, because of that, saw a lot of abuse and chewing damage. This much larger treat wobble by KADTC is too big for our medium-sized, 45lbs, Australian Cattle Dog mix to chew on, thankfully.Lately, Puppers has started to get picky about eating his food. Over the summer, after countless BBQs with friends and family, he was fed (snuck) too many human table scraps to enjoy his own food anymore. By introducing this puzzle toy at meal times, he has started to eat his dry food without convincing.Puppers is a tall dog for his weight. His head stands to my hip and his back to my knee. He looks like a smaller version of German Sheppard. I say this because I think his height in comparison with this puzzle toy is part of what makes it a win-win for us. If he was shorter, stockier breed he may not have the same level of enthusiasm. So while this toy is slotted for “giant” breed dogs which it is perfectly sized for, I would say that a tall, medium-sized dog may also get some good enjoyment out of the toy.I like that you can turn the center portion to distribute the amount of treats or food you want. I am also fine with my dog eating them up off the floor as he rarely leaves a morsel unfound and un-gobbled. My only concern with the toy is how difficult it is to reach right inside to clean it. I had to pick up a dollar-store, bristled bottle brush to get into the recesses of the slots on the inside. My silicone bottle brush was too big to fit into the different chambers or up, inside the dispensing slots. I wish the clear, plastic food chamber also unscrewed so that you could get in and give toy a good cleaning. Although it is unlikely to collect outside dust, dirt or slobber on the inside, the treats and/or kibble you use in the toy tend to leave a bit of a greasy film after a while. You need to get a little creative to clean inside the toy and this may be a deterrent for some. This is the only reason why I can not give the toy a full 5-stars.Other than being awkward to clean, this toy is a hit with our pup and I can recommend it based on durability, mental stimulation, enrichment, fun, and size.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

  4. Mainstream Sellout

First off, I just have to say the main picture for this product is absolutely ridiculous haha, it is very funny, but ridiculous. The treat/kibble dispenser is HUGE, I definitely wouldn’t suggest filling it full unless your dog is also huge or you have several, as the contents would likely get damp from humidity over time. It has several internal components, allowing you to separate a variety of different kibbles and treats if you want to. It is super straightforward to fill and doesn’t allow pups to break into it with excessive smacking or motion. The dispensing rate is adjustable allowing a little or a lot to come out. It is also very durable, I don’t see this being damaged any time soon – if ever – its weight also prevents it from being carried around and hidden. I was skeptical this wouldn’t tip over with my very excitable dog, but to my surprise – and my pup’s dismay – it won’t tip over, it just bobs back upright and spins around a bit. Overall good dispenser, might be more interesting for dogs if there was a ‘giggle’ noise function, but still draws interest well. One downside is because of its mass size and decent weight, it is not travel friendly.

great bowl, annoying to fill since it will spill into the holes and then fall on the floor so you have to aim the kibble to the sides. took a while to get my dog to learn to try and topple it, kept sniffing around the base and pushing it with his face only to get smacked in the face with the wobble lol. (my aussie is a bit timid of stuff, becomes a drama queen when there is the tiniest thing in his way). heavy weight, dog will push this across the house most the time.

I have a reactive British bulldog, she cannot be walked easily, so we have to do our best to entertain her with other toys. She is an extreme chewer, can destroy even the hardiest of toys given the time.We got her this, and spent the next few days watching in awe as she nosed it, kicked it, flung it around the house. It’s quite big and heavy, she cannot carry it far in her mouth without losing grip, so prefers to whack and nose it. A full unit takes about 30 minutes and 10 laps of the main floor to complete feeding. She then does another 2 laps to seek and destroy any missed kibbles. We have to take it away after feeding to prevent gnawing on it. (generally during those two laps of clean up duty)If you have an active dog, or a reactive one like me that needs more play time this is the device for you.Its big, so I would suggest it for something in the 45+ lb range for this toy, the neighbors miniature doodle thing (14lbs) couldn’t really get food out of it.Expect a bit of a racket has it gets bumped and pushed and whacked, but this is generally followed up by a solid nap.For durability, the see through hard plastic sides I’m guessing will not survive too many falls down stairs, so keep it in a controlled area. It has tooth scratch marks all over it already. It’s really well built, so if you watch those things, it should last a year or two of daily dinners.
