Hands on practice
My son loves all things cars so when I saw this magnetic board it was a no brainer for me. He is in VPK and learning to read. They are introducing the letters, capital and lowercase and this board has been a great reinforcement for letter recognition. He loves to play with it and I help him identify the letters. I tell him âyou have to park the right car in the right spot or you will get towedâ and he just loves the game. He even asks me when heâs done so that he doesnât get âtowedâ. I love the game weâve made but most importantly how excited he is every day he come home from school to use the board. He even takes it on car trips. The board is split and the clear cover is more like plexy glass. Iâd does scratch up but a normal type of wear and tear, not like you wouldnât be able to see or render the board useless. The magnetic wand is good and I love the fact that it stores within the board, l so it doesnât get caught in transport and risk it being accidentally pulled off. I think this is a great gift too and Iâm considering buying more for the nephews. This is definitely useful not only for school aged kiddos but also it can grow with them. This works on their motor and gross skills, color recognition, one to one correspondence, and when you get there, letter recognition. Itâs a great, holistic educational toy!

Cute idea BUT…
it’s a nice idea but the execution of this product is poor. Several of the cars are stuck between the elevated parts of the roads and the plastic. The 2 swinging white pieces are not on the rods. They are free floating within the maze. The magnets don’t move as easily I’d hope. I’d expect any toddler to get quickly frustrated with this. Returning

Very cute, just the cars get a little stuck
This is such a fun little Montessori puzzle; my kids were having lots of fun figuring out how to move the cars and place them in the correct spot. I really like how colorful and easy it is to use. My only complaint is the cars can get stuck together making it hard for the magnet to move them unless you shake the whole thing up and loose the spots for the other cars .

Flawed design
I wanted this to be a great educational toy for my car loving boy, but the design was flawed. The cars keep getting stuck between the top of the maze and the screen. When this happens, the pressure placed on the car makes it so the magnets don’t work so I’m returning it.

Great learning tool!
My wife was an early elementary school teacher for many years. She raved about this “game”. It is a great game for children ages 4-7, though 3 year olds could begin exploring with it, and anyone older than 7 who struggles with letter recognition would benefit from it.It takes time looking at lower and upper case letters of the alphabet to gain familiarity with them. She said that parents of younger children should print a “cheat sheet” showing the paired upper & lower case letters that a child can look at while playing with this.Aside from learning the alphabet, it is great for developing fine motor skills that will be essential for writing. Clearly my mastery of the alphabet and my fine motor skills are up to par. I was able to quickly move all cars into the bottom area, then back to their ‘parking spots’.The plexiglass surface is thick/durable, and smooth. The magnets on the pen and in the cars are strong enough to attract through the plexiglass while still allowing the cars to slide on the underside.

Engaging and Educational
This Magnetic Alphabet maze is a useful Montessori-inspired toy for young learners, especially for kids aged 3-5 years. My 5 years old grandson enjoys handling this toy. Here is what makes it standout:* Fun Letter Matching Activity: The A-Z parking lot design is an innovative way to help children learn uppercase and lowercase letters. Guiding the cars to the correct spaces using the magnetic pen is both entertaining and educational keeping my grandson engaged.* Durable and Scratch-Resistant: The upgraded acrylic sheet is durable and clear, far superior to standard plastic boards.* Safe Design: Wood used is of premium quality and magnets are strong, the finish is child friendly making this toy safe for little hands.* Montessori Learning Benefits: Bright colors and interactive game play encourage hand-eye coordination and letter recognition making it an excellent toy for preschoolers.* Cars remain intact within this toy due to the acrylic sheet as top enclosure. There is no chance of cars getting misplaced. This toy combines fun and learning.

Fun Brain Teaser
I got this board for my 3 year old son. He is so fascinated by the magnets and cars. Itâs a great tool for teaching the ABCs and lower/uppercase letters. I actually like moving the cars around myself. It feels like a brain teaser. I think this is a great gift for young children and I love that itâs not messy. Itâs great to take on the go as well.

Opened the box and one of the white gates was detached and unable to reattach.Extremely poor magnetic strength making the movement of cars difficult and very frustrating.Believe the One Star reviews.
