Smallest frenchies only
I ordered this without measuring which is my fault, but to advertise specifically as a frenchie life jacket youâd think it would be a little bigger. My girls are the smallest frenchies I know and I had to max out the straps to fit around their torso. However, they seem comfortable in them and run around just fine. The handle is definitely to be used only in the water, as their own weight chokes them on the chin strap if lifted out of the water. I do LOVE the wide chin floatation- especially for braxy dogs I think itâs super important for their faces never to be in the water. We havenât tested it out in the water yet, but Iâm sure itâs sturdy. My girls are 25 and 28 lbs, short with thick neck and torsos and it just BARELY fits.

Not only do I like the life jacket that fits my French bulldog perfectly and keeps her chin out of the water, but the woman who sold it to me was also extremely pleasant and attentive. I would definitely purchase from the vender again. I also purchased a larger one for my English bulldog and it also felt great. He is a real ham when it comes to swimming and he has great range of motion for a big guy and the lifejacket gives him a great sense of security.

Well-made, secure and bright
My French bulldog is 25 lbs and fits perfectly in the lifevest. The straps all feel very secure and there is a handle on the back to lift him out of the water. I like the flotation device under his chin because it helps support his head and is removable. The vest is bright and will keep my pup super-safe on the water.

Well made, a little too small for 25 lb frenchie
My frenchie is about 25 pounds and this is a tad too big for her. The front flap is too loose and it can’t be tightened very much so, when she’s swimming it’s off to the side and usually doesn’t work properly. I wish there was a way to adjust the front. The velcro in front doesn’t hold well when the vest is wet and dog is moving. Aside from that, it is well made. Its just that front flap that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do.Since it’s been used, we’ll keep it around as a back up or use without the front flap, but when there’s waves, the front flap really is needed.

This life jacket is perfect for my pug. It keeps him afloat and the floatie under the chin works great to help keep his head above water. Heâs about 18 lbs and it fits him great. The handle on the top is helpful to get him in and out of the water easily. Highly recommend for brachycephalic breeds!
