Excellent design. Rubberized outer coating makes it easy to hold onto. I walk two large dogs and was fearful at first they would break the two leases when they pulled with everything they had. The leashes work fine. After abusive use they still retract fully and quickly. And the locking mechanisms on each one still work without an issue. This was my first retractable leash, it should come standard with every dog.

Good quality, but buttons rather small
I switched and returned so many dog leashes, because of constand change of handle design. They look fancy, but very uncomfortable, hard to reach buttons. This one I kept, ordered another color also. I wish handle wouldn’t be from plastic, having a better grip and buttons would be bigger, for easy push. This one is working well, smooth releace, has immidiate stops, good design. It is OK.
