This is a quality product, and I bought it after my new puppy chewed through four cloth retractable leashes that I had as a legacy from my previous dog. I’m a slow learned, but finally decided to get this one for her. However, my little twenty pound puppy can reach a fairly high level of speeds when allowed to run out the entirety of a retractable leash, obtaining enough momentum to either rip the leash out of my hand or nearly bowl me over. So I’ve been keeping her on a non retractable stainless steel leash she can’t chew through. This is a good leash, though, if retractable is what you are looking for.

The Leash itself is pretty common works well and seems pretty sturdy I bought it for the extended wire coupler my Terrier when we walk and maybe stop and talk with Neighbors he would chew on through leash lead I went through 3 leash’s, so far this is working wellthank you

Very Weak Retractor
I’ve had a lot of retractable leashes over the years, and this one is by far the worst.The metal lead is nice to have, but the coil which retracts the leash is useless. It does not fully retract the leash, which was really annoying when I took my dog for a walk with this.My dog will run out to the end of the leash, then run back toward me, and because the retraction doesn’t work very well, the leash sags and causes my dog to get all tangled up.Avoid this leash and find one that works.

Works until it doesnât
We have a 90lb lab, that is not the best behaved on a leash and is a tugger. We purchased this in February 2024, and tonight the leash broke off from the handle. Thank goodness I had a backup leash, but this doesnât seem built to last for strong doggos.

Iâve gone through a couple of these retractable leashes. This black 16 foot retractable leash is the best quality I have seen. The cable extender is great because my 2 year old (50lb) Aussie has a tendency to get excited and bite at the leashâit works great and we enjoyed our first hike!
