Well I canât say enough about this item. I bought it to replace a âboatâ style no spill vessel that always still spilled on rough roads and dirt as I travel. This design stops any spilling at all as long as you donât fill it more than 3/4s full. It also stays remarkable clean since most of the water is protected by the floating platform. My dog seems to even like drinking out of it more than other bowls. It has an outstanding seal and a traction ring on the bottom that works very well! The onlyPossible issue I could see is a bigger dog not getting enough water from the shallow dish in the floating platform but it also might make their drinking a lot less sloppy if it worked!!!

We have a Neapolitan mastiff and this works so well! I had little hope it would make a big difference, but was shocked at how much it reduces the slobber. Itâs not as wide as we would like so we just put it inside of his larger dish so it can still be elevated.5 stars!

Stops the mess!!
I bought the bowl to prevent our dogs from getting water everywhere. Water from dribbling from their mouths,to the puppy playing in the bowl and splashing it around. It worked wonderful for my purpose. I also found it is a VERY deep bowl that holds a lot of water, which I loved as well. Itâs also very easy to tell how much water is in their bowlâ¦another great perk. Great purchase!!

Floor dry, but cleaning the bowl is a chore.
I don’t like that the opening is so small. Best for smaller dogs. Bullies, are too wide in the face for it. My doodle does fine, my staffy uses it too, but she’s not a huge fan. It gets slimy quickly and needs a lot of washing. Wouldn’t recommend for multiple dogs or large dogs.

OMG we were having such a problem with out Golden Retreiver leaving a large water trail every time he drank from his open bowl. We have hard wood floors in our kitchen so if we didnât catch him right after he drank it would leave water marks all over our floor.We decided to give this bowl a try and I have to say this thing is a game changer, no more large water trails anymore, in fact hardly any water mess at all.We will be buying another one so we can swap them out when one is in the dishwasher.Great Product, if your having the same problem we had, donât think about it and just buy this product!
