Keeps Working
During the dark days of winter, having a ball to throw in the local park that my dog can find is excellent. She almost always gets to the ball before it stops blinking, even if it goes the length of the soccer field. Of course, it would be even better if it kept blinking for another few seconds.

good outdoor dog toy
nice materials and durable, but the light stays on even after movement has stopped. Very odd.

Durable, Floats and Glows in the Dark
Highly Recommend for big dogs that love to play fetch day or night. This product exceed my expectations. I have a 1-year old Lab that loves t o play fetch. I had gotten the glow-in-the-dark ball that was similar to this one, but it didn’t glow very long or bright at night so I decided to give this one a try (along with 2-3 other light-up balls I found, this one was by far the best). The lights make it easy to see and after the lights stop flashing, the glow-in-the-dark material would light up extremely bright. the original one I bought went missing somewhere at my parents house so I came back and bought a few more of these as they exceeded my expectations.

Bring a uv light but great option
This one can be charged before hand but starts flashing once it hits the ground and flashes bright enough that it has some after glow. I haven’t bothered with the charging things you can get from nerf for these toys. That said, my dog has worse adhd than I do and once it stops flashing he often times wanders in a different direction. It’d be great if the ball flashed for a few seconds more to allow the dog to get to it if you’ve got a cannon or other means of sending it downfield. Having a uv flashlight makes it stand out against the ground and will help you find it in lower light conditions.

Almost perfect
This ball was great in the beginning! We do a lot of ball playing at night so balls that are visible are a must. We’ve tried the ones you use a light to make glow and they’re fine but it’s so much work to keep them glowing and even then they’re barely visible so I thought we’d give this one a try. I bought it at the beginning of November and LOVED it at first! It was super bright and bouncy so night play was much easier. It’s now mid January so after 2.5 months of occasional play, the blue light has stopped working altogether, the red one only works occasionally and isn’t very bright when it does work. All of that said, my dog did drop it in water once so I’m sure that didn’t help the situation but I think it’s more the slobber that did it in rather than the brief dunk in water. Since my dog did dunk it in water, I may buy one more just to see if it lasts longer without the dunk factor bc I do like the ball. But overall, (if the 2nd ball doesn’t last) bc of the price point, I would not purchase this ball again since I’d have to spend $10 every 2.5 months on a ball….no thanks. I guess we’ll go back to the ones that glow from a flashlight lol. OF NOTE: I only let my dog have this ball when we’re ready to play bc 1. It would probably deteriorate faster bc of the slobber if they are chewers like mine and have free access to it and 2. I don’t think the ball would hold up structurally if I let her chew on it like her regular balls. She knows this is her special play-in-the-dark ball; she knows where it is and when it’s time to play with it lol. The video is of the ball now.

My dog loves the ball. I got the ball for a week of play and it is no longer light up and there is no charger for the ball.

I walk my dog at night very dark and she loves it best purchase ever 5/5 !

The ball itself is good. The rubber is tough, my dog destroys everything. The light up feature, not so good. Lasted about 10mins and no longer lights up. So just a regular ball now.

I’ve gone through 3 of these. None of them have lasted more than 2 weeks.I mean the ball is durable an the glow is a nice feature but the LED lights die quickly.I took one apart and there is a hole that allows slobber/water to directly access the batteries. They were totally corroded in 2 weeks of play.
