This leash and the harness are a game changer!
I used to dread walking my dog because he pulled so hard. This harness with its 2 points of contact (chest & top of his back/shoulder area) have helped me train him to walk easily with me without pulling. Now he walks great with the leash at its full length and only connected at the top of his back at his shoulders. Now we both love walking together and I have no fear of his throat getting injured from pulling. The leash can be shortened for when you need more control (at the vet or in a store), and has enough length for more enjoyable walks where he can sniff and have a little more freedom.

    Strong
My dog chewed through the first one that came with the harness. I debated on whether to replace it and I’m so glad I did. It clips on the no pull harness that I use to train her. The leash is sturdy and it’s easier to control her with it on, as long as I attach one clip to her chest and the other to her back. I like that I can convert it to a longer leash and still use the attached loop. An added bonus is the variety of colors that I was able to choose from. I take it off her harness after I buckle her in my vehicle so she can’t chew through it.

    A bit short
The leash is great and works remarkably well with our energetic two year old lab mix. We connect the front part to a gentle lead and the back to the back of the harness. The only issue I’ve had is that I wish it was just a little bit longer. I feel like I’m constantly stepping on my dog’s toes and tripping over him while we’re walking because it’s just not quite long enough.

Good training leash for dogs that pull and squirm
The leash is slightly shorter than I expected, but it works as advertised. I have a big dog so I was concerned that the material might not hold if he decided to bolt after a squirrel, but it’s held up well with no tearing or fraying. I combined this with the Sparks Paw dog harness and clip one between his shoulders and one further down his back. Combined these two products do a great job guiding your pet and keeping them at your side. It’s easy to use with a harness.

My pulling dog instantly stopped pulling.
I was using a traditional leash with a Martin gal collar and my one-year-old vizsla was an aggressive puller.Upon switching over to this leash, along with the harness, my dog immediately walks calmly by my side. Worked like magic.

    Game Changer!
This was my last resort before calling in a trainer. I was so frustrated walking my recently adopted baby. She’s a 2yr old, 65lb Pit mix (got her a large which fits perfect) and she’s such a gentle sweet girl until outside and then it’s crazy brain. I tried everything I could, collars, reg back hook harness, leashes, how to videos but felt there was just some disconnect with her, besides raging ADD and all new things to explore. She’s very strong and was killing my back and hips so found this, read the reviews and thought ok, I’ll give it a try before calling in the professionals. OMG I could not believe the instant difference the first walk. I got the package with the double clip, one clipped to back, one to chest. I waited a few weeks to make sure and am still amazed at how it has made a huge difference. It is so well made, very sturdy materials and metal hooks, even a soft thick velvet on the part that goes around the under arm area. For the price I was genuinely surprised when I opened it and the results, well thank you because now I’m really enjoy our much longer walks!!! Recommend 100%.

Not exactly what I had hoped for…
I’m heel training my dog and was excited for this leash with two anchor points. It’s been about a month since I purchased it and the leash is already wearing and fraying where the O-ring of the handle usually sits (see picture). In addition, the leash is long enough that if I want my dog to heel just by my side—and not in front of me—I have to double up the leash and hold it by the black part and not the handle. Otherwise, the leash is too long and it drags my dog trips over it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this leash.

  9. I have loved using this on my husky but the release button is no longer working and I have only had this since June 25th. What should I do? Can it be replaced free of charge.

I would like a replacement sent as I bought this in June and it has come apart. Please let me know if it can be replaced free of charge. Many thanksPatti Dean

Having the leash connected in two places helps with walking, but my dog is a stress chewer, so I had to replace this.

It was just the right length for the no pull harness and was easier to walk the dog.
