Up, Up, And Away –
Easy To Set Up And Works Well
I got this collar with hopes that it might teach my dog to listen a little better. I intend to only use it on the vibrating and audio mode. It’s very easy to set up and works great. I’ve only used it a couple of times thus far, but it has worked successfully each time I’ve used it. I can’t attest to the battery life yet because I just started using it, but I do think a charge will last a decent amount of time because it doesn’t show any signs of the battery draining quickly. This is the first training collar I’ve ever gotten so I took a lot of time testing it out on myself to understand the different strengths of both the vibrations and the shocks, even though I don’t plan to use the shock mode. I was really impressed by the wide range of options. My dog had a humorous reaction the first time I used the vibration on her. She was ignoring me as usual when I was trying to call her back to me outside. The vibrations made her shoot her head up and look all around like ‘What was that?’ It was funny because she was definitely curious and seemed a bit amused by it. Despite that, it had the desired effect because it grabbed her attention and she actually focused on what I was saying to her for a change. She’s extremely smart, but also extremely stubborn and independent because of her mixture of breeds. I think this collar is really going to help her understand when it’s important for her to listen. The collar is great quality and can be adjusted to fit any size of dog. It sits comfortably on my dog’s neck and she doesn’t mind having it on at all. I definitely think this collar is a great training tool. The Retail ($38) seems very fair because it’s great quality and works. I’m extremely glad I got it and highly recommend it.

Very Pleased
There is the ability to lock the controls so that you do not shock your dog by accident.There are both tones and vibrations. No control over tone volume but there is control of vibration intensity. I turned the vibrations down to 30% because higher levels seemed to be bothering my dog. The goal of the tones and vibrations is only to get her attention and let her know she is not behaving.The shock intensity can also be controlled. I dialed my shock all the way down to 7%. My dog is about 20lbs and that level of shock seems to be sufficient. I have only had to shock her twice in two weeks as she is very good about responding to the tone and sometimes the vibration.Battery life seems excellent and the controller can be linked to control up to three collars if needed.My one small complaint is that you cannot change the intensity of the shock or vibration without selecting that option first which means delivering a shock or vibration. I recommend turning both the shock and vibration way down before placing the color on your dog. You can dial it up as needed later but you do not want to over do it on the first jolt. Your goal is discouragement not torture.

Great dog training tool
This is a nice, basic dog shock collar. It has a remote so do not expect it to react every time your dog barks. You have to control the receiver. It has 3 settings: beep, vibrate and shock. In my opinion, the beeping and vibration is enough. The shock should only be used if your dog wonât respond to the other settings. I charged this once for about 2 hours and have had a month of use out of it. So it has a good battery life. It works perfect as a tool to train your dog. Itâs not a fix-all, but it helps. It lasts long through my two large dogs playing rough and tumbling. I want another for my other dog. Itâs great too because you can link more than one receiver to each controller, and command 2 receivers with the switch of a button.

As you can see from my pictures, I have a good sized dog, with a lot of personality. She’s a very good dog but she has a problem with getting over-excited and jumping around too much. I wanted something that wouldn’t shock her but would get her attention and distract her from what she’s doing. I also needed something that was easy to use, and this product checked all my boxes. The most important function for me is the ability to use the vibration and beeping at increasing levels so she doesn’t get too used to any one thing. I’ve tested it out when she’s jumping on the couch because of a delivery, and when she’s jumping on the back door when I’m trying to let her out, with both the beep and the vibration functions and they do get her attention. She’s by no means cured of her hyperactivity, but she’s starting to equate the beep and the vibration to her actions, which is a good start. Another thing I’m very happy with is the long battery life, so I don’t have to constantly take the collar off and put it back on to charge it. All in all, I’m very happy with the collar and happily recommend it.

One of my dogs can sometimes play a bit too rough with others and sometimes get far too focused on a smell. I hesitated getting a collar because I did not want to shock my dog into behaving.I got this collar simply because of the vibration feature. That is all my dog needs to get her to pay attention, one press of the button and the collar vibrates so she can listen to what Iâm asking her. I really like this as I can see she really does want to listen but just needs help focusing on me sometimes.I have the shock feature turned down to 0% as I have no need for it. Though if your dog does not respond to the vibrations, itâs important to do whatever you need to keep your dog and others safe.

As with any shock collar, I first test it on my arm. I won’t subject any dog to something that I’m not willing to endure myself. If the shock is set very low (5 or less), it is nothing more than a tickle. At level 10 you start to notice it as a shock. As you rise higher and higher above 10 it becomes more uncomfortable. Since I will be using this on a small dog that just refuses to listen to commands, I will start it at level 10. But only if I can’t get him to behave with the sound and vibration. Shock is the last resort.I like that this shock collar has automatic and manual modes. I prefer to discipline my dogs directly so they know that I’m the one demanding that they behave. They need to listen to my commands. But when I’m not there to discipline them, it’s nice to know that they can’t get away with things just because I’m not home, so the automatic mode will be very useful. I had a dog many years ago that quickly learned that if I did not have the remote in my hands, I could not impose punishment. This collar will show them that they still need to behave even if the remote is not near me.The remote is easy to use. You can set the strength of the vibration and the shock. The sound level is fixed. It’s also easy to set the mode with the remote.So far, I can’t find anything negative to say about this shock collar. Used correctly, it should help in disciplining any dog. It’s also great that the collar unit is waterproof as our dogs like to play in the lake.I give this shock collar 5-stars.

This was used for my large stubborn dog. And he still is a brat, but not the collars fault.The collar came packaged nice, and once fully charged lasted for a couple weeks.I used the beep at first, loud enough to hear it, but not annoying. There is also an automatic bark feature, our dog is not a barker, but tried it to make sure it worked and it did.We graduated to the shock levels. You could tell he felt it, but it wasnât hurting him. Just his stubborn nature and he didnât care, so not products fault.Going to keep using with his training to help reinforce behaviour.Good price for the product
