Slows down eating
Fantastic product. Slows down my got eating. Easy to clean. I actually removed it from the blow that it came in and placed it in his bowl. It fit great and the suction cups on the bottom help keep it in place.

Shallow
I ended up returning because it was too shallow to actually slow my pup down but would probably work for a smaller dog

Got these for bee watering – easy to clean
Last summer a hive ran out of water from development in our area and cleaning calcium off glass beads is an exhausting addition to summer chores ( hand problems and multiple chronic illnesses causing pain and fatigue). Since calcium isnât supposed to build up on silicone thought to try these. Theyâre very bright, easy to get clean, for the tough spots I let it bend and flex over my fingers and use a mini tumbler/bottle lid multi tool brush/pipe cleaner. I wasnât exhausted cleaning it and they fit at the bottom of a variety of bowls/basins. Still figuring it out for my very creative use. Love that there are 2 in the set to really try them out. Not the sturdiest slow insert Iâm trying but certainly not flimsy. Just donât expect Kong like strength (had a large black lab that loved those). Theyâre fairly wider than the average dog bowl we had from our lab, definitely recommend measuring first. Thought the bees could land and sit on the groove tops while drinking and climb on them if they fell in but they donât seem to like that. Could be this summer the different hive is not as bright, Iâm allergic and trying to rescue/keep them from our leaking watering spigot so I can water more easily. But hey no calcium and no iron stains from the red dirt.

Strong suction cups!
Love these! Slows the dogs down, great suction cups, easy to clean (I put them in the dishwasher and they still for just fine), and the colors are cute! One of my dogs prefers to eat out of the bowl with this inside because it seems to be more entertaining for him (what a relief). I measured my bowls before I got this for my doggos and I recommend anyone else to do the same. If you donât mind excess space on the sides thatâs totally fine but I have smaller dogs so I wanted something that wouldnât let those little noses cheat their way around it.

Doesn’t stay in the bowls
The suction cups don’t stick very well, my dogs remove these from the bowls every time they eat.

Just what I needed.
Our male Mini Schnauzer is a seriously aggressive eater. This is softer on his teeth and he has not destroyed it! Plus, plus 🙂

Interesting dilema
So, this slowed down my dog’s feeding… then she ate the first slow feeder. Ripped it to pieces. It says it’s for large dogs, but she tore the thing apart. We have to take her dish out right away when she finishes eating to keep the second one from sharing the same fate. I recognize that it’s on me to figure out her aggressive chewing, and I keep taking steps toward that. This product held a lot of promise to prevent bloating, but it may not be right for us based on our dog, and may not be the solution for people with active chewers. My rating system breakdown:1 Star = Safety hazard, gross misrepresentation of product, or flat out doesn’t work2 Stars = Needs improvement3 Stars = Meh, likely wouldn’t buy again.4 Stars = Meets expectations5 Stars = Exceeds expectations

Fits the dishes in our automatic cat feeder
The cats are not a fan. But both of my cats need to loose weight. Slows down eating.
