Hope the smell goes away
Update to my update: seller reached out and refunded since I had an issue with the smell. I think I will order again withy the refund and see if the problem was just the one I received.Update: I let it air out and washed it a couple more times. There was still a faint plastic smell but I went a head and put my 25lbs of rice in. I hope it doesn’t make the rice taste plastic. In the lid is also a little plastic vented box to put star anise or something similar to help keep bugs away. The lid seems to seal nice and tightly.I do really like the size. It could not fit 30lbs of rice like the descriptions says but 25lbs fits nicely. I could probably get 2 more pounds in. I’ve posted a pic of what 25lbs if rice in it looks like.Previous: ordered the green 20-30 lb container for rice storage. I have concerns about the strong plastic smell tainting the rice. I’ve washed and been letting it air out but the smell is still prevalent. I’ll give it a couple more days.Pros: good size foe 25lbs of rice. Smaller than expected
This container is much smaller than I expected, but that’s my fault. This is a great container, but I’m writing this review so others know what they are buying. Apparently, there is a difference between a 30lb rice storage container and a 30 lb pet food storage container. Now I know! Picture is to show comparison of the size difference between this one and a 25lb dog food storage container. i bought this to store deer corn in my garage, which would work, but I wouldn’t be able to pour all the corn from one bag into the container, which defeats the purpose of having a container vs keeping in the bag. I ended up buying a larger container for the corn, but I am keeping this one and still give it 5 stars. I am storing a 15 lb bag of cat food in it instead, and it works great for that purpose. This is a great little storage container, just pay attention to the dimensions so you know what you are buying. Haha I should have known better, but I’m still glad I bought it!

Amazing dog food bin!
Bought this to store my dogs 45lb bag of food. I was hoping the entire bag of food would fit because it says up to 50lbs of food, but it definitely wonât store more than 35lbs. So keep that in mind! But it works great! Itâs super easy to clean and it keeps my dogs food fresh! And I love the scoop and two small storage containers it comes with! Perfect for storing pets food!! ð¶

I like the product but it definitely does not hold 30lbs of dog food. I had a 30lb bag Royal Canin Boxer Puppy dry food and this container barely held half, if that.

It has wheels!
When it first arrived, it was folded ip and I was like, how is 30lbs of rice going to fit in that? But it expands and holds a lot of rice (my intended use.) It has wheels you can add if you want and it makes it easy to tuck into somewhere! It fits nicely in my pantry and makes things a little more tidy while keeping unwanted things out of my rice!

This container ticks all the boxes – well designed, well made, and attractive.The designers thought of everything. It is critter and bug proof with soft seals and magnets to hold things shut when they should be shut, but easy to open when you need to get in.
