Easy to clean and convenient.
This rice dispenser is made of a thicker plastic with a little bit of flexibility to it and I’m not worried about it cracking over time unless it was dropped from a significant height. I like that this it comes apart easily as the first thing I did was clean it. Although I’ve been wanting a glass dispenser, this one, is a lot easier to move and store since it has a slimmer profile.If anything, I’d say it’s definitely a step down from the huge rice dispensers I grew up with having, and a step up from the stainless steel bucket I’ve been storing my rice in for years. Although it does expose your rice a bit more to air, there is little basket on the lid to add a desiccate, or spices to help keep the rice drier, to prevent pests and help with freshness. It has a simple operation where you just push the button to dispense your rice into the given container and you can also easily wash your rice in it as well, since it has a strainer top on it too. There’s a bit of a learning curve though as the method of measurement on the container is in grams, and I usually go by cups, and so far it seems to be around 3.5 cups if I filled it up to the max 500g line. Regardless, that’s an easy transition to manage.Now as far as other grains goes as a possibility for storage, the hole from the main container to be dispensed, is quite narrow so I wouldn’t use it for larger beans or pet food unless they’re more like pellets. Regardless, it’s at a good price point and would be great for a starter home/smaller apartment if you’re worried about space. It’s definitely way better than pushing a huge bag of rice around for sure!

Great little dispenser
I love this dispenser. Well I am not sure it holds a full 22 pounds of rice in it, it probably comes fairly close. Did the Spencer comes with an oversized cup with a handle that even has a lid that can keep any excess rice that you donât wanna dump back in safe. My biggest issue with this is the fact that the cup shouldâve been a measuring cup, but has no measuring indicators. Because of this, I have to eyeball how much rice Iâm actually trying to get out, hence why the lid for it was really good for me.

I like this for use for dispensing my ride. It isn’t the greatest, but it is better than leaving your rice in the bag. It dispenses really well and I like it comes with a measuring cup. Easy to use and easy to clean. Would recommend.

Finally, someone made a rice dispenser that looks good and doesn’t look like it will fall apart if you look at it funny! I can’t give it 4 stars however, because pressing the button doesn’t dispense one cup at a time, you’re basically back to using a measuring cup to measure out your rice.

Compact countertop storage–fits under top cabinets!
I got this container thinking I could store dry cat food in it. Unfortunately that did not work out–the opening is too narrow and the shape of the kibble could fit, but liked to get stuck. I had plenty of rice though, and this is a great storage bin and dispenser. It fits under the top cabinets and takes up a small amount of space. It looks sleek and tidy. So easy to use–press the button to open the small rectangular slit and out pours the rice. Releasing the button just slides the door back on the opening, and sometimes some grains of rice get caught, but it isn’t too bad. This also touts being a good container for beans, but they would have to be very small to consistently fit through the little opening without getting stuck and clogging up the narrow doorway. The cup is plastic, but it is so clear, I thought it was glass! Just a great little container/dispenser. Something i did not know existed, and something I did not think I needed, but I am really glad to have it.

I thought this would be a heavier material but itâs more on the lighter side . It does hold up my rice pretty well with no problems and dispenses the rice at a semi slow rate with is perfect for me . Itâs easy to clean out and dries really fast .

nice and simple
Its quite large, which for me is great because we buy the HUGE bags of rice and eat a lot of it. This is great as it comes with the cup showing measurements and its a simple push of a button to open the nozzle and allow the rice to flow. Great litte addition to any kitchen that’s serious about their grains as we are!

Holds a lot of rice!
For nearly 2 decades, I’ve been storing my rice in a round plastic bin. It’s a little over a gallon. It did the job but I decided to finally upgrade to an actual rice dispenser. And wow, why didn’t I do this sooner? First, this dispenser holds A LOT of rice. So I don’t need to refill as much as my old bin. The handy push button dispenser pours out the rice into the small container. I like that I can wash the rice directly and there’s a draining cover to remove the water. This is great for any family that eats rice on a regular basis.
