Well made, but too thick for my small breed dog to comfortably chew on
These are advertised as “Dog Rope Toys for Small Dogs,” but the orange “carrot” portion is thicker than it looked like it would be in the photos online. I have never seen any carrot in the produce section of the supermarket that is anywhere near this thick. From the photos I thought this would be an appropriate toy for my small breed dog that is about 4 months old, but I don’t think he’s going to be able to get his mouth around these oversize carrots. The carrot is about the width of 2adult fingers put side by side.The toys are well made. You can partially bend the carrot part but they are still fairly rigid and are woven in a medium-tight weave, so they are semi-rigid.The toys are nice, but I don’t think they’re really correctly described as being suitable for a small dog. Medium sized (40 lbs) or even large dogs (60 lbs) would find these chew toys to be more suitable. (I speak from long experience from having small, medium, and large dogs as pets over the years and having bought all of them various chew toys.)

Very well made and durable; tight rope braiding
The carrot length is approximately 8″, from the bottom tip of the carrot to the top of the green rope. The diameter of the carrot is a little over 1″ and weighs a little under 2 oz. or 53g.These rope toys are very well made. The braid construction of the toy is very tight and dense, making it somewhat flexible, but maintaining durability.I like them because they are easy to toss around and don’t make any noise. I especially like that you get three of them, so when one gets worn and dirty, just replace it with a new one.
