The very first night after sleeping on it I was in pain, just like I was with only my current mattress but AFTER I broke it in; it has been amazingly WONDERFUL! What a transformation! Don’t sleep on this because before my body would ache on my mattress, but now I sleep like a baby! It has been a lifesaver to me because there’s nothing like a good night’s sleep! Thank you to the manufacturer because this is definitely a game changer!

A good value, but had to geow on me
I already have a mattress topper (with down filling), as well as a pillow top mattress, but started having hip and back pain a few months ago; this topper was much cheaper than my other one, but memory foam was something I hadn’t tried in a topper, so figured it was worth a shot – and hated it for the first few days!It was vacuum packed on arrival, which was expected for anything made of memory foam, so I gave it a good day to air out after opening. There wasn’t any smell, but the pocketed construction combined with shredded pieces of foam had me concerned that it would be noticably lumpy… And it was, at least for a few nights: I would toss and turn when trying to fall asleep, feeling like I was laying on a blanket over a pile of laundry. The seams were much lower than the pockets of foam, and laying on my side had me sinking between and kicking to even then out. I should note I’m also a sensitive sleeper, preferring only a sheet underneath most of my body, so the feeling of the pocket lumps while half asleep was frustrating with the thought there was an unwanted piece of blanket that I couldn’t pull out.After 3 or so nights of thinking I needed to pull it off and go back to my previous topper, I was finally acclimated more to the feeling (though my wife was fine from the start), and after a full week I think the foam had flattened/settled enough to make it more level. I started having less pain as well, which made me glad I stuck it out. For 1/2 to 1/3 the price of a similar sized down topper, and especially for someone who is less prone to tossing and turning on less than smooth surfaces, its well worth it – even more with the current discount making it $20+ cheaper than normal!
