Let’s face it, guys, getting a good night’s sleep is crucial. I’m no spring chicken anymore, and my back isn’t what it used to be. My mattress was starting to feel a bit thin and worn out, but I wasn’t ready to shell out for a whole new one just yet. So, I decided to give this 3-inch memory foam topper a try.First thing I noticed was how thick it is. This isn’t some flimsy pad; it’s a serious chunk of memory foam. It felt substantial and well-made right out of the package. Putting it on the mattress was a breeze, and the elastic straps kept it securely in place.Now, for the important part: how does it sleep? Well, I’ll tell you, it’s a definite improvement over my old mattress. The memory foam conforms to your body, providing good support and pressure relief. I used to wake up with aches and pains, but those have significantly reduced since I started using this topper.It’s not all sunshine and roses, though. The topper tends to retain heat, which can be a bit uncomfortable on warmer nights. I’ve found that using a breathable sheet helps to mitigate this issue, but it’s something to consider if you’re someone who tends to sleep hot.Another minor gripe is that it has a bit of an odor when you first unpack it. Nothing too offensive, but it took a day or two to air out completely. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.Overall, I’m pretty darn happy with this mattress topper. Nice option for an air mattress
I’ll be honest, I think the most I’d pay for this is $40. I ordered the queen to go on our oversized twin air mattress for my daughter’s sleepover. We tested it out beforehand on the air mattress during a movie night and it definitely helps with a more even distribution. However, if you’re looking for super comfort…you’re going to need to buy a foam mattress pad instead. It might be nice on a mattress but me personally, I prefer foam toppers. We also don’t have a bed small enough for this. We couldn’t pick a king as an option.There’s no weird smell which is nice. We didn’t get hot while using it, again, that’s nice because my husband and daughter are lava rocks.It’s not bad quality and it’s a good option for a lighter coverage in my opinion.
