For the price this is an awesome retractable leash for my 11 pound Shih Tzu. He loves to chase his favorite ball on walks so 30 feet allows fun but keeps him safe. The quality is perfect for what we need. It works easily for keeping him close by with the push button lock. Push button again and it allows him the freedom to run ahead up to 30 feet. Love the size of the hand opening
I can tell this is a high-quality product because of the way that it retracts when my dog comes closer to me. I can feel it and hear it retracting smoothly. But the biggest reason we bought that is because of the hand size opening. Other ones for smaller dogs donât have very big openings for large hands like I have. This is very comfortable and easy to use. Definitely worth buying again.

Larger than i expected (heavier) but i should have realized it would be because of the length of the cord! Even though it was bulkier than i expected itâs not heavier than i expected. The mechanism to lock and unlock works nicely/smoothly. Its really good to be able to easily lock it at a certain length especially when walking on a heavily trafficked street OR when allowing a person whos unaccustomed to walking dogs or say a child to walk the dog (supervised PLEASE!) All-in-all I really like this leash! Unfortunately my service dog just died unexpectedly two weeks ago⦠due to age, but still unexpected!!! So I suppose this purchase will sit until I find another fur baby that fits just right into my life, God willing, one might just find me the same way my last one didâ¦. If its ment to be it will happen⦠any small prayers from anyone taking this much time to read this review would be very appreciated!

The length is great
I needed a long leash for my puppy. This fits the bill. The only draw backs are the locking/brake mechanism occasionally sticks and my puppy’s sharp teeth cut through the lead close to her neck like a knife.

I’m very happy with this extension leash. Just a push on the button and it stops it release it and it extends again.

I’ve used these about 15 times and they work good so far. I walk 2 small dogs and it gives them good freedom. You have to be careful at driveways etc. so don’t buy them unless youre alert while walking your dogs. If you’re a person that grabs the cord with your hand don’t buy them. Use your thumbs and arms to pull them in and then they’re really good.
