Our medium dog loved this Santa-themed squeaky toy. I love the pieces to keep him busy. The squeak worked and was noticeable. Each toy is about the size of a tennis ball, so it’s great for small to medium dogs, though it’s not ideal for heavy chewers. Our dog chewed it up of course after some time, but still plays with it. The durable material holds up well to light chewing, but aggressive chewers will rip this apart in a second. The dog is happy and merry so we’re happy and have time to be merry. Christmas Themed Dog Toy Set
At the time I ordered this, the price point was @ $24.99. Currently, the price point for the set is around $11.99. As you can see, the toys look & feel soft, but they are very thin & the fabric is not greatest quality. The plushies are not double stitched either so for aggressive dog chewers like our pup, these won’t last very long. I’ll only bring it out for her to play with during the holiday season as she has tons of other toys of all sorts of themes. Hopefully, it will last much longer than it would if I let her play with it throughout the year including the non-holiday season. Also, there is no place to put any treats when you put the plushies into the house so I supervised my 9 year old niece with a sewing project & we sewed on little pieces of stretchable white garter pieces onto the plushies so we can add treats onto them. (See last photo). Overall, for the original price point of $24.99 I would say this is way overpriced, as the quality of the plushies are not high quality. Also, the house is made with a thin cheaper fabric as well so it is very flimsy. Our aggressive pup will chew it up in no time because it’s so thin & flimsy. Now that it’s on sale for more than half off, it’s more reasonable & would make a cute Christmas gift for any fur babies you want to gift something to for the holidays. I would have rated this 3 stars because the original price was too high, but with the price drop, it’s more reasonable for its value so I added a fourth star.
