I wanted to use these for flour and sugar storage. I like the sturdy, clear plastic storage part of these. They are labeled by âMLâsâ which I find myself googling a conversion chart. Iâm not sure if my intended purpose is going to work out thoughâ¦the lids are a little bit of a challenge to situate perfectly. Once they are situated, the lids lock fine. I just donât know when I am baking/cooking if I want to deal with trying to adjust the lids back on each time, as I want to fit my measurement cups within the container with the lid off (plus these containers are narrow). I think they are better suited and would work fine for rice/beans/cereal where you can just take off the clear plastic cap and pour.

The sealing buckle are easily broken. Love the containers? but on the first time use one of sealing buckles broke

Airtight containers, compact and perfect for dry food storage
I needed some airtight food storage containers for my pantry.I did not check the dimensions of these containers, but they are a nice size and keep certain food items in one place. For example, I can add lentils or other beans to these containers knowing that they will be in a dry, airtight environment until I need them. If you want a visual of how tall these containers are, a Barbie doll is 11.5 inches tall. These containers are 11.7 inches by 6.5 inches, by 3.2 inches. They hold 2.9 quarts. If you are looking for gallon-sized containers to hold a full family-sized box of cereal, these are not that size. They are compact, hold plenty of food, and do not take up much room.Some of the advantages I found are:- They are well made. The funnel design makes it easy to pour the ingredients out but the lid keeps it airtight so that you donât lose food quality.- They are made with BPA-free plastic materials.- You can store dry or liquid foods in these containers. They can be put in the refrigerator if you want to store perishable food.- These are perfect for camping or for trips where you want to bring along some things to snack on or cook to cut the cost of going out to eat while on vacation.Some disadvantages are:-The containers are not stackable but the product description does not state that this is a possibility. They are exactly what the product description says they are.- The lids can be a little difficult to snap on. You have to be careful not to snap off the buckles by trying to force it to shut. The rubber that seals it can poke out a bit, so you have to be careful to push this in and donât force the lid to close.Overall, I am satisfied with these Blushtier Storage containers. Although you might need to use two if you want to add a big box of cereal to them, I am not concerned about that. They help with flour, sugar, beans, pasta, or any item you want to keep in an airtight container.
